Default Where to get a Good Lightweight Jack ?

Of course it will have to be an aluminum to be lightweight. Where can I find one ??? The Craftman one seems heavy to me to be aluminum. Pice does not matter, I will rather have something im happy with even if it breaks the bank

24 lbs for that one at harbor freight? Most are around 35 lbs, so I'm not really sure how sturdy it would be. I got a speedway series from a truck sale that comes through town. Speedway Motors sells the same jack for $129. I like it and it has out lasted a few OTC racing jacks.

The Craftsman 1.5ton Aluminum/Steel jack is 50lbs. according to the box it came in. I like it and was satisfied with the quality of it. I caught it on sale for @$99.00 (+ sprung a coupon on 'em) and got the last 2 of them that my store had. It lifts from 3 3/4" to 18 1/2" (same as the 2 ton model). IMO it was a nice jack for the money I had to lay down...

I have the craftsman alum/steel one and it's awesome. My friend purchased the all aluminum craftsman jack and let me be the first to tell you, it's lighter however it requires a LOT more effort to jack something up with b/c it's all aluminum! I've often wondered why my ALL steel monster jack picks stuff up so easily, it's because it has a lot of weight to it unlike the all aluminum ones.

First, I cant afford a Jack from Pitstopusa.com, They are wayyy tooo expensive.

I was looking at spending $300 bucks the most....

I was looking at the Craftsman but to me it seems like it weights alot

Yeah for real... "Price does not matter" and "even if it breaks the bank" carry a certain connotation. Saying that around here is like waving a gun. Don't do it unless you mean it!

I have the aluminum/steel craftsman jack. Bought it when it was on sale or whatever and i'll have to add that i am very pleased with it. About one or two pumps and its at the chassis of the car already. It doesn't require bone-breaking strength to lift a car. I wasn't too worried about the weight since i knew i wouldn't be picking it up and carrying it all the time. Just my two cents

I also need a Jack that will go under a lowered 02 Camaro SS. I will get wither LG springs or DMS and they are like a 1.5'' drop.
