service manuals

Every search I do takes me out to the google browser and virtually every thread is missing or a bad link.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thought I saw something about them being on CD or helms or something and someone mentioned a sponsor selling them.

So annoying when links dont work.

Got mine 1/2 price, they go on sale once in a while. I like the paper manuals, you can bring it right to the car.

Keep and eye on ebay. I've gotten all my service manuals from there for less than half of buying them new. WELL worth the investment at full price anyways though.

There are three volumes for each year of the late model f-bods, ebay is a great place to find them. The paper manual is the most complete, I have smart *** friends who say the ebay cd's have all the same stuff, but they are missing info.

I found something intersting with the shop manuals, they left out the C0055 code, "Rear Speed Sensor Failure" for the ABS (or I might be blind

). I had to get the dealer to check the code wit htheir Tech2. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Helm is the OEM supplier of the manuals, they are the real manuals.

i like the disk version of the manual that way when I get it dirty I can throw it away and print another.

True, I have run into this problem as well, keeping my grubby *** prints off my $120 books. I scan them, save them, print them, and trash them as I go now, works well.
