Default Lowered f-bod's/Corvettes.. ( Any interest in some ramps)

Firstly i am not a sponsor and will clear this with NineBall & others prior to attempting to market my product..

I am starting a project designing some ramps for our cars.

For me personally, with my car being dropped and inch and a half it becomes a bit cumbersome getting a jack underneath it.

I do have the Rhino Ramps, but the ones i will be fabricating are NOTHING like those.

Mine will be light weight, steel construction, yet durable and sturdy, and yes, they will look nice too.

They will come in a set of 4 that way you will drive up on them evenly, place a jack/stands underneath in your own driveway/garage.

Oh, and the best part.. They will be "reasonably priced?.

Do you guys feel that there will be a market for these?

Feedback is greatly appreciated, good or bad..

I'll post pic's of them once complete. I'll also pull my car up on them as well, a "before and after", if you will so you guys can have a visual.

Thanks in advance..
Pewter..

The problem with this idea is if they're going to be low enough to fit under the lowered cars then the cars won't be lifted very high at all. That kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion. Easier to just drive onto a 2x4 if necessary to fit the jack under.

... I understand how you could have the fronts but the rears would present the problem. Also, what would be wrong with regular ramps in that case?

I am making some for myself.. I'll post up when complete and we will go from there.

Are either of you guys cars lowered? Have you ever had a problem getting a jack under your car?

Getting the car way up off the ground is not my intent, that is what the jack, jack stands are for.

These will simply get the car up high enough to accomplish that without bending, breaking the kick panels.

Also, for me personally, My Rhino ramps tend to move forward from the air dam under the car.

I love the nay sayers... Makes me want to fabricate these all the more.

Thanks for the comments.. We'll see what happens.

i cannot get a jack under my car from the front or back, the only way i can lift both front and back is if i drive up on 2x4 on all 4 tires....its a pain.

the winter 2007 california car cover mag has a set of 4 ramps for lowered vehicles they are pricey though I dont recall the actual price but about 200 and I am sure you could do better than calf car cover as their prices are high

I'd be interested. I have 5 jacks but only the smallest will fit under my lowered goat (lower aftermarket side skirts as well). And I can only sometimes use my rhino ramps if the car hasn't been sitting long (struts compressed after sitting unused).

I use 2x6's cut at an angle, drive up on them and the jack goes right under the car.
