Default Anybody Use A Lift?

I've been looking at getting a lift, because I'm fed up with slithering on the ground. I'm going to put it in my garage. It has high ceilings. Does anyone recommend a brand to get, or a brand to stay away from?

I have an American Lift, but my friend has an Eagle. I would recommend the Eagle.

A lift is the best car mod you'll ever do.

My dad's had a Rotary lift for the past 12 or 13 years now in our garage... never had a prob with it and I use it about every other weekend.

I think the problem a lot of folks may have would be the height clearance with a 'full size' 2-post lift. Most lifts require 144" (12') of ceiling height minimum for the top crossbar. My shop doesn't have that clearance.

Here's the type of lift I'm looking at:

http://www.eagleequip.com/products/l..._post/mx9f.htm - this one's a shade under 9' tall.

Would still allow you to drop the engine cradle (as opposed to a 4-post lift, which would not).

Ahh, some day. Right now I have access to a lift at my friend's shop, tho, so it's not a real pressing matter for me. I'd rather save up and buy my own car trailer.

Best purchase I ever made!! 2800 delivered. I just had to add a couple panels and some track to the garage door.

I have a real high ceiling in the garage, 13' ceiling, so clearance isn't a problem.

If you have the space and the $$$, a Rotary is by far the best lift out there.
