Default extended rear studs remove lugnuts

I have extended wheel studs on my 9 inch. A shop put the wheels on, and now that I go to take them off I have not been able to find a socket that will reach the actual bolt because the studs are too long

The rim design doesn't allow the stock jack handle thing to work either. WTF are you guys doing to get these off

thanks andrew

well, they obviously used something to put the lug nuts on, so there has to be a socket deep enough! lol

.

Impact sockets. Mine are a little longer than my deep Craftsmen.

try putting the deep socke on with no wrench, and see if the lug sticks through the middle a little. You can sometimes get the wrench on slightly to get the lugs off...

or a deeper socket.

Yeah, you should cut them off. Any longer than all the way through the nut is not helping. Just make sure you cut them off with the nuts on then the nuts will clean up the threads.
