Default Jack up car by the wheels?!?!?!

Has anyone seen this before or had any experience with one? Looks like a perfect solution for lowered cars!!

Looks good, but the overall lift doesn't look too desireable if it is maxed in the pic. If it works it would be a good way of keeping the suspension loaded....similiar to a 4 post lift.

I've been trying to find more info about it but can't come up with anything. Lift height was the first thing that came to mind.

Question

Is it just me or does it look like the black pad at the top of the device uses the fender to lean on?

It would have to lean on the fender because the foot of the jack is outside of the car. The jack would need legs that go under the car, like an engine hoist, to be self-supporting.

The fact that it is coming from Harbor Freight concerns me. Not exactly known for quality! Not sure if I would risk something like that on my car! I have my SS lowered 2" and with SFC's and I do not have an issue with jacking up the car what so ever. I went and bought the craftsman aluminum race jack and it works just fine and along with low profile rhino ramps when needed.

.

Not in a million years. You can build a 2x12 ramp to get a real jack under the car if you are that low.
Nobody has a lower car than mine, & I would find another way.

Thumbs down

Did you go to the website? The price is right there. It's Harbor Freight, how expensive can it be for Chinese garbage.

I will never again trust a craftsman aluminum race jack. I used a friends on my car when one of my tires was sliced open. Long story short, the jack actually slipped and crushed my side rocker panel. On top of that the jack had only been used 1 before, and after I used it, the aluminum was all beat up and ruined from the partially paved driveway. PLUS, they dont have a very good range.

I have a craftsman proffesional series, and I am loving it.

Question

I'm confused. You said how crappy the borrowed Craftsman jack was and you would never trust them again but then you said you own one and love it.

I've owned a HF jack for years... no problems. I am an Assistant Manager at a HF now, and I havent seen any jack issues. As for this wheel jack... I've never seen it before. harborfreightusa.com is the website you need to check out to see if a store can get it. harborfreight.com is another side of the business. Just like the catalog. All three can have different prices. The store will honor any of the prices, but in some cases may not be able to get catalog or website product.
