I again reiterate to change it back the way it was. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" This new format sucks and I can't find anything I'm looking for.

The LS Vehicles link takes you to the Parts Classifieds. Probably a simple fix.

The new search will be helpful on the vehicle search but when looking for parts it seems like too much of a hassle.

I forgot to add - please there is no need to lash out at Tony.
Tony (and John) built this community to be the largest source for all LS based info, and he still hangs around here to help out you guys. He is (if you can tell by his garage ) a big fan of all things GM, and I think some of the comments that some people have made towards him don't take those factors into account.

Without him there wouldn't be a classified section on here that you could raise issues about

I think I have? At least it doesn't show for me.

Fixed - thanks.

Hopefully as more people list more parts it should improve.
We have had this feature (albeit tweaked a bit differently) on 2 of our other sites.
There were some objections about us changing it there (and it took us some time to get it running how people would like it to), but today, on both sites, users seem to really like the classified features there, and they are certainly more popular than they were before.

Its still there for me. There is just a blank space between the thread title and the username of the person who created the thread.

We have some improvements to make here... wrapping text for one.Removed We are hoping to make the search box smaller and fit it across the top.
Thanks for your suggestions!
Typically bikes are placed here:

(which will allow you to post it )
Sweet!! Are you checking it in firefox and explorer? I know at work when I use explorer it is different.

I think bikes are automobiles. But it works. Thanks,.

Also get rid of the private/vendor listing.. All it does is add clutter, take up space and its irrelevant anyways.

This.

Anybody that is still bitching needs to chill out just a bit. It is VERY obvious that Adrian is working diligently in getting everything worked out.

And you people that joined this site in '09 with 0-2 trader ratings scores don't have too much say so in what goes on around here, especially calling names and talking down to people. If you want to make a comment, go for it.. But come on you are talking to people that have been here since these cars came out.

Is there anyway instead of having the search thing on the side, it could be its own page? Sort of like the "advanced search" feature? So for the people who want to just look through classifieds they can, and for the people who want to look for specific parts, they can just click a link to a search page and fill out all the info?

That seems like a good compromise.

Excellent suggestions guys. Keep them coming. Might be cool if the search is a pull-down type menu, that takes no screen space?

For some reason, it doesn't seem like the LS only link actually gives you only LS based vehicles. I'm sure there's a reason, but didn't see it here.

Listed something last night:
Still no 'Apprearance' option
Still no 'New' option
After 'submit' I got a big ol' *error* page, ...
Went to my favorites link to go to LS1Tech, then the sell listings, & my ad was there.
WTH? Was there an error or not?!?
Evidently not, ...

Is there supposed to be a general Classifieds section and an LS section and a Non-Ls section? Tons of cross posting between the 3 so now I have to read them all which sucks. How about just a LSx section and a Non-LS section with no general section. Or just change it back Easy peasy.

While we are putting in change requests and ideas, I have one.

Have and option to sort by newest original posting date/time, not just newest reply date/time. That way we can view the freshest posts at the top, not the hundreds that get bumped to the top for months with replies.

I agree 100%!!!
Pretty much every section in LS1tech has a "Display Options" panel
at the bottom of the page. This gives you the option to display the
threads by "Thread Start Time".
If the Display Options panel was added back I would have no
problem with the new classifieds system.
