Default What's up tech!!! No more birthday notifications to you email?

Today's my birthday and I'm on SVT, Supraforums and Ricekiller.com and all of them sent happy birthday notifications.

My memory is getting worse as I'm getting older but I thought ls1tech used to send them out too. I could be wrong.

It's automated like every VB board is, you will receive it sometime within the 24 hour window most likely.

The birthday notice is sent out based on scheduled jobs (CRON) and should have been early in the day.

I looked up your account and see you're using hotmail. Did you check your Spam/Junk/Bulk folder? You may need to load Hotmail via the web-based interface as generally that content isn't downloaded to your email client. Sometimes LS1Tech's email goes to the Spam/Junk/Bulk folder. This has been the case, several times, with Hotmail especially.

Looked in junk folder and nothing. All the others came through and didn't go into junk mail.

It's all good though, rpm ws6 gave me my birthday notification and now I feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Regarding all other birthday notices from other vBulletin-based sites not going to your Junk folder, a large factor in this is the source (who sent it). In the past, LS1Tech's email server has had problems with Hotmail accounts by either getting outright rejected, or the contents going to a Junk/Bulk/Spam folder. If the birthday notice didn't get through, than other forum emails (email notifications) for Hotmail may not be working either. I'll do some checking.
