levittown PA just north of phili. wich part of the harness are you aksing about being custom, the engine? cuz its a stock harness that i just cut where i needed too.

gauges are camaro and all wired up. even the blinkers light up. they all work except the fuel (but i added an auto meter fuel gauge).

i think the air would fit pretty easy with that sub frame cuz theres a ton of room. as far as the wiring i didnt cut any of the ford wiring out. all i did was unplug (the ford one has a bunch of round plugs) the ford engine harness.

and if someone lives fairly close and doesnt have a trailer we could always drive it to your house and then pull the motor/trans.

not easy????? have you ever wired up an ls1? you can have it running on a stand in 5 minutes. a ground, one 12v constant and like 5 12v switched and the purple wire goes to the key, done!

no custom harness, stock 2001 firebird harness. so easy a cave man could do it.

what exactly would i need to replace to get it up and running. I would give you a new harness btw.

Basically a full engine and tranny? do you have any custom brackets on it that i would need to replace also? like alt bracket and such.

buyer would need a motor/trans (with the haness and pcm) thats it. like i said if someone has a stock harness i would leave it hooked up to the car, you need NO custom brackets. and the way i hooked up the harness, i used a realy center out a junkyard car (late model buick i think) and cut out what i didnt need so each circuit has its own realy and is fused. i will see if i can find a picture of it.

Hey; what's up? I'm the guy who emailed you on Craigslist and asked if you were on here. Hard to believe this thing isn't gone. You're saying that if the prospective buyer hands you a harness with the cash, all this car needs is an engine and transmission to drive away? Plug and play?

I could drop a 5.3/4L60 in this for next to nothing just to get it going until something better could be put in.

pretty much yeah. but you woul dneed a computer becasue this one would not even let a stock engine run let alone drive. i thought people would autmactically know that when i said i was keeping the engine/trans, that that included the harness.

so yeah if you have an engine and trans and an ecu for the engine your useing, yes that should be all you need. i still drive this car. friday i went to mcguire AFB in jersey with it to meet my wife for lunch. put about 60 miles on it that day.

all im taking out of it is the engine/trans (im just unbolting it and pulling it out whole) and computer if soemone give me a harness (obviously not a junk haness like one thats been hacked up or anything).

and i will move the price if someone doesnt want the rear tires. i have 10 hole mustang wheels to put on it to roll. but thats only if someone wants to save money because i can use them on my malibu.

im lowering my price to 1500 because i want this piece of **** car gone. im sick of playing games with people that want fifty pictures of crap that doesnt matter. if no one buys it soon its going to the junk yard.

and just to clarify i will take 1500 for the car minus the engine/trans (and that means the harness and ecu wich are PART of the engine). also for that price im keeping the rear tires as ai can use them on my malibu. if someone want the rear tires its $1800.

and NO no one can test drive the car. it doesnt matter how it drives, your not buying the engine. and no i wont ship it or find someone to ship it for you.
