LS Engine?: Car has other engine
I just bought this car a few months ago. I planned to finish it and put my motor in it. Overall it is a VERY nice car with almost all new interior and exterior parts. It is about done, minus the motor I was going to install. The previous owner sent me this list(I have amended it to match things I have done) and stated he has over $14500 in it. After seeing all of the new parts, I believe it. I have changed out the seats to something much better, cleaned up a lot of it, put in a better radio, fixed the speedometer, just got all the doors rekeyed and matching, etc. I havent done much under the hood yet as I just bought the blue Iroc that was on here a few weeks ago so this one needs to go. Overall this is a VERY nice Iroc, especially for the age. Have the carfax showing no damage as well.
The only thing I haven't messed with much is the engine. The previous owner stated it was a 350 with 305 heads to bump compression. The motor sounds good, cranks easily, and has decent power. Smokes slightly on startup if sitting for an extended time and has a oil leak at the front oil pan gasket/fuel pump blockup.
