2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS 35th Anniversary Edition
$12,200 or best reasonable offer.
With all due respect, if you want a $10,000 SS … this car isn’t for you.
This is one of the only 2002 35th Anniversary SS 6-speeds for sale in the Pacific Northwest … and it’s a really clean one that’s ready to go.
I’m new to this forum, but I’ve owned 3 Camaros and a Corvette … all bought new, except for this one, which was purchased from the original owner – a retired GM exec. We’ve owned this SS for about 3 ½ years, but need to sell one of our go-fast toys to fund a new commuter car. E-mail questions: weidspeed at hotmail dot com
This SS is almost entirely stock. It has NEVER been drag raced or even had a clutch dumped burnout. For the most part, it was a cruiser used for summer road trips. It’s very clean, well-maintained, and in GREAT condition. VIN 2G1FP22G022160806
* Only 61,800 miles – mainly highway road trip miles
* Original factory metallic pewter paint -- turns a beautiful, reflective silver in low light
* Black leather interior with power seat – no rips, tears or stains
* 2nd owner; bought in '07 from original owner, a retired GM executive.
* 6-speed Hurst T56 close ratio manual transmission with short shift kit
approx 330 hp 5.7 Liter LS1 V8 (with K&N filter & SLP exhaust)
* Never raced or abused
* Always garaged
* Clear title, no liens, issues, or stories
* Smoked glass T-Tops – never a leak
* 500 Watt, 8-speaker Monsoon Sound System with CD player
* SLP “Loudmouth” dual tip, cat-back exhaust – deep, loud sound!
* Non-smoker -- GREAT condition, unmodified
* Everything works. No leaks, no surprises … GREAT CAR!!
Well maintained:
• Synthetic oil (Mobil 1) changes every 3000 miles
• New, top of the line Power Slot rotors
• New Hawk HP+ brake pads hi performance & no squeal
• Complete brake fluid flush, with Motul brake fluid
• Coolant flush and & fuel injection service
• New K&N air filter
• 17” factory SS aluminum wheels -- no gouges or curb rash
• Continental Contact 275/40-17 Ultra High Performance All Season tires -- about 50% tire life remaining
This car has been well cared for its entire life. Still, there’s no warranty, nor is it perfect: it was in a <5 mph “minor accident,” backed into a parked truck’s trailer hitch leaving a small dent by left tail light, which has never been fixed (see red circled spot in photo).

I've never even bothered to get an estimate. Still, I wouldn't want any surprises if I were a buyer, so I thought I'd state it upfront. I'll see whether the paintless dent removal place can fix it. If so, it should be next to nothing. Thanks!

Thank you for the support. I've had 2 offers that would be more in line with a 120,000 mile 6 cylinder automatic than an SS with half that mileage -- and that's for a car that's been babied its whole life.
I really need to find someone who knows what a 35th Anniversary 2002 SS is all about. I know that many expensive options -- and aftermarket performance upgrades -- are valued only by fellow enthusiasts, not the general public.
Private party KBB good condition value on my car is $11,000. I'll keep it before I sell it for its trade in value.

I know what you mean I'm only 21 and even tho I got way in over my head on my loan I still do baby it just for the simple fact that its a rare car I've personally only seen maybe 3 differnet SS's around in memphis and plus I'm paying my butt off for something so I want to to look just as good as it sounds! I take it to car shows all the time and get alot of compliments on it so its gonna be hard to sell something that brings so much attention but I'll be saving alot of money
