VERY clean car, NO rust, spotless undercarriage..
Black leather interior in mint condition, it doesn't even have the usual tons of little crack looking seams you get with leather! It had seat covers on it until i got it when I took them off.
I got the car with 83,000 miles on it.
My dad had done some mods to it.
Borla True Dual Exhaust
LE 226/223 Cam
LS6 Intake
Walbro fuel pump
SLP Intake
Tick Master Cylinder
Subframe Connectors
Front & Rear Swaybars
Hurst Shifter (not the stock one, some aftermarket one)
Kooks Long Tube Headers
3.73 Gears
12bolt Rear End
Spec Stage 2 Clutch
All the mods were done about 4 years ago, I've had the car for two years so I'd guess at about 65-70,000 miles.
The car was originally bought for my mom who drove it on her daily commute to reno and back for work. My dad started modding it when my mom bought her Subaru.
My dad only modded it for a quick daily driver but only drove it for a little while before he bought his z06 and turned his attention to that.
When I started driving it, my dad did a tune up on the car.
Just about 3 months ago he fixed an oil leak and coolant leak it had, it has a brand new oilpan gasket, and a brand new high performance electric water pump that is wired to turn on automatically - no switch.
The car has the factory monsoon sound system, it works great.
Still has working AC that works amazing. Heat is great!
New Nitto street radials with around 80%+ tread.
While I've owned it I've kept all normal maintenance, I changed the oil every 3,000 miles myself with Mobil Clean 10w-30. I just changed the transmission fluid using Dexron III about a month ago.
I wash it and wax it every week at least once if not more.
There's no mechanical issues and no bad cosmetic flaws. Only ones there are is some scuffs under the front bumper, and a couple paint chips on the bumper that aren't noticable since I used touchup paint on them.
My dad goes to the track regularly with his nova and I went with him back in June and I drove my firebird and managed a 12.210@112mph with only a 1.9 60 foot. This car is the perfect candidate for a street machine!!
I'm only selling it because I'm going away for college all the way to Michigan, and I don't want to drive this car year round up there through the winter.
I'm buying a 2003 Subaru WRX here next week so this car has to go!!!
I'm VERY firm on the $6,000 price. I see cars like this going for a LOT more!!!
This thing can drive anywhere, there's nothing mechanically wrong at all.
No leaking or burning of any fluids, gets 26-30mpg on the highway, and is very quick!
This car has not been abused, my dad drove it for maybe a year and he's the only one who beat on it but he's VERY METICULOUS when it comes to his cars so it was very well maintained.
I don't have a lead foot, I won't say I haven't cut it loose a few times but it was not 'abused' at ALL. The worst the car has ever had done to it was the 4 passes I made at the track.
Post here or PM for more information if you'd like. This is the only picture I have of it on my netbook, I can send more via text message.
Don't play me for stupid, I know what the cars worth and it's definitely more than 6,000.
Let me know, THANKS!
