1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD built
Year: 1990
Make: Eagle
Model: Talon
Price: $3750
Mileage: 195000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): AL
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
LS Engine?: Car has other engine
I have had this Talon about 3 or 4 years, the previous owner is a good friend of mine, and he had it since 1999-2000.
This is a factory TSi AWD 5SPD car. Motor has prbly 1500 miles on it.
The motor has been rebuilt to stock specs, .02 over Topline pistons 9:1 compression. FP exhaust manifold, to FP ported EVOIII 16G, to FP stainless o2 housing with wastegate dump, to mandrel bent 3" exhaust with black muffler, no chrome ricer fart can. RC 560 injectors, Punishment Racing Front Mount Intercooler, Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator with gauge, Walbro 255 fuel pump. Car has Apexi turbo timer, SAFC fuel controller, battery relocated to trunk properly with Stinger wire. Car has Shepherd Racing stage 2 rebuilt transmission. None of those grinds DSM's are famous for. Car has eagle alloy 16x9 wheels are Kumho 225/50/16's in good shape, 1 has slow leak, very very slow leak. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. I all but quit messing with the car when I got the Camaro. Straight title in my name. OH. the transmission and transfer case along with the shifter is from the 91-94 so it does have the short shifter. It's got all the typical DSM mods. 2G MAF. Agency Power blow off valve which can be recirculated or not, and actually both at the same time. I have all kinds of parts for this car. I have a 4 bolt rear end for the car. 2 or 3 other sets of wheels. I have a ported head and a set of brand new in box HKS 264/272 cams. more headlights, taillights, idle air control valves, all kinds of ****. The car has got a slight leak, I can't even remember where from. I'd honestly say an afternoon to a weekend of work and you'll be out driving around in a car that feels like a cracked out go kart. It has a Cometic multi layer steel head gasket and ARP headstuds. It has a Spec stage 3 or 4 clutch. I want to say its good to 450whp, It's the lightest clutch I've ever felt. You would seriously think it wasn't hooked up its that light. I haven't halfassed a single thing on this car, and haven't wanted to sell it, but I have to fix the Camaro
I am really looking for a hardtop SS shell, SS with blown motor, no motor, whatever. I need a shell to put my stuff in. Preferably an SS, like mine is. and preferably a hardtop BUT if you have a LS body style Camaro you want to trade, hit me up, maybe we can work it out, because that's what I will be buying with the money anyway.
I have probably over a hundred pictures on my cell phone of the car and the build, I just don't have a good way to get them online.

450 hp would really really really be pushing it, with the parts that are on it now, it's not going to do that. Turbo is CAPABLE, but the setup on the car right now isn't, not trying to **** in your thread, but your ad is a bit misleading.

His thread really isnt that misleading. The 450hp he said is for what he believes the clutch should hold up to not what he is making. In fact he actually doenst give a current hp/tq reading at all.

Sorry guys, I don't have a computer of my own at the moment, that makes it really hard for me to upload some pics. I have hundreds of pics of it on my cell phone, PM me, and i will get some pics sent your way.
maxed out evoIII with a head and those cams would probably be pretty close, but would definitely need more fuel. The clutch was marketed as 450hp capable. The only place around here with an AWD dyno is StaticX, and my Talon won't ever be in their parking lot.... so. I don't know how much power it's making. It's fast. It's fast enough to get you a ticket, get you killed, spin 4 tires, all wheel drift. whatever. I would say its close to as fast as the Camaro, it ran 7.70s last time it was at the track. Or feels that fast anyway
PM FOR PICS. I WILL TEXT THEM TO YOU

450 is easy to make at the crank the only thing is holding it back is the 560 injectors, but with e85 and large injectors 450 is very easy i make 400whp but i have maf-t e85, 272 both sides, and link. Not sure on spec clutches because i've never ran one. free bump and please check your pm.

you honestly don't know much about dsm's or turbos for that matter, people have broke into 10's with 14b, and 16g's all day. I'm pretty sure this car is very capable of 450. I drive around daily with 22pounds of boost on 93 and about 35pds on e-85. It all depends on your set up.

Bump for a fellow DSM fan, I went to the dark side and got a SS Cobalt lol. But I do miss my 2g. With out a 2nd thought the E316g is the best street turbo out, and with some fic 1050's and E-85 it's a win win. GLWS
