19,700 ORIGINAL MILES

First let me say I know this car isn't for a lot of people. I made sure not to cut up the car because it is a 1LE and can be returned to stock if desired. A little history on this car, I am the second owner. I want to go road racing, and have too many autocross projects in the garage. So, this one has to go.

No one is more **** and meticulous than me when it comes to my cars. This car was always garaged. You don't eat, drink, sit in, or breathe in my cars unless you are clean. I enjoy the details and love working to get everything dialed in. I put the best of everything I could on this car without skimping. I even occasionally climb under the car and clean the underside of the car. It has never been in an accident but does have a scratch on the left inner edge of the wing in the gap between the wing and the body and typical rock chips from freeway driving. The body has never been lifted by the fender tabs so the fenders do NOT stick out. Car has been cleaned, claybarred and Rejexed.

The car is a 1999 1LE Camaro. For those that don't know, the 1LE package was an autox / racing specific package to give racers a lighter car without all the options typically found on normal fbods. This included:

-hard top
-manual windows
-manual door locks
-no body undercoating except in rear wheel wells
-manual rear hatch release (opens with key only)
-adjustable koni shocks from the factory

I'm sure there are other things that I'm not aware of. The original owner was as much of a perfectionist as me in keeping the car clean. As for the price, the parts alone add up to more than the asking price. Here is more info on this car and some of the parts:

Even with the parts I've forgotten and the prices I can't remember, the price of the parts listed easily tops $17,000 without including labor. I know mods aren't worth their value in resale, but considering the mods + the mileage, documentation, and the rarity of 1LE's I think it's a more than reasonable price. The car is basically being thrown in for free if someone were to return the 1LE to stock and sell all the parts.

I'm not looking to part out the car. I will not sell the documentation, brochures or individual parts separately, either. The engine is BONE STOCK internally. It is currently registered non-op so I didn't have to keep swapping back to the stock exhaust. I did this after the place that usually examines it went out of business last year . Dislike that I haven't fixed yet - previous owner didn't run a small ground wire from the trunk to the block when doing the battery relocate. I feel for now it's a fair deal.

Thanks for reading. Any questions, feel free to ask me or anyone that knows me about my cars or this one in particular. NO TIRE KICKERS. Car is located in San Jose, CA.

Default ttt

really sweet man. love to own it. i live in n.y.....i think the low milage and mods reflect the price more than the rarity of a silver 1le 6 speed though.i picked up almost the same car with 44k on it 4 yrs ago with a rear end(12 bolt) and a 408 making 511rwhp for 16k. and thats when the market was really hoppin. 15k still is decent ...nice car..and glwts. free bump

Thanks! I tried to aim it in that ballpark - location, mods, mileage (19k vs. 44k), and being a 1LE in consideration together - as a point to price.

Bolts for the interior are the stock seat mount bolts. I had the seat out to show how clean the carpets are. No food, drink spills, or crap anywhere on the carpets.

It does not have a roll cage. I didn't want to cut up the car or weld to it so it could be returned to stock down the road.
