Hello! Up for sale is my Crystal White 1997 SVT Cobra Convertible. This car features the 32V 4.6 with the sought after Teksid casting block, forged crank and twin runner 'B' heads mated to a smooth 5spd T45 transmission. This car has all the SVT paperwork and certification; along with modification literature etc.
This car has been treated to well over $10k in modifications (6k in chassis alone) and is fully prepared for HPDE such as open track/autoX and can get it's way down the quarter mile if that's your thing. To say this is one of the cleanest Cobra's/SN95 cars you're going to find is a near understatement. I am the third owner of this car and it is near SPOTLESS in and out. Underneath is washed regularly and looks amazing. The car has just rolled 89k on the chassis with a fresh Ford Racing longblock (engine) and looks like its under 20k on everything. Ice cold A/C, hot heat, really nice top, vert boot etc. . .everything works.
If you are used to a typical sloppy handling mustang with axle wind up, nose dive, junk brakes, a temperamental transmission. . .be prepared to have your mind blown. This car no longer retains the junk 4 link 'quadrabind' rear suspension, but is of a three link torque arm design with a panhard bar to center the rear allowing perfect articulation, eliminating wind up and tq box abuse and allows the car to brake level under heavy load. Relocated pick up points correct the lack luster geometry and full tubular suspension cuts weight. HUGE brembo 4 piston calipers on slotted cadmium rotors bring the car to a stop in a hurry.
I really can't type enough that anyone is going to want to read. Please feel free to contact me to set up an appointment or for more information on one of the cleanest, best looking, and handling sn95 Cobras in existence.

Ford Racing reman 4V 4.6 F822-6006-ARM with appx 15k miles on it

Few notes to mention:
Clean title in hand
No rain or snow; garage kept weekend toy
95% street driven
Despite my sig; this car NEVER was supercharged. I purchased a t-trim and a lot of supporting goodies. But felt like I was building my 94 again. I no longer own the blower.
As stated, I am willing and able to trade up and put some $ forward. This is me having too many of the same toys in a row; not pawning a headache, not a firesale. You have something cool? Let's talk. I'm only selling to get another toy anyhow.

I appreciate the insight; however the brakes and suspension alone cost as much as a clean example. There's not one bolt on part on this car that's not top shelf. I realize alot of you guys on the LS boards aren't going to make any connection to Maximum Motorsports; but look up a Max Grip kit, the Autopower cage/rollbar, the 2000 Cobra R style brakes. You can buy a stock Cobra for what it costs.

Then find a cleaner SN95 then mine: which is hard enough. Sure, beat, crusty high mile cars are cheaper. Did you look at my pics? Sorta the deal with a clean WS6 vs a beat base z28.

This car ***** ON my bothers full Strano/BMR SS in the turns; its not even close. I realize it's not making buku power...its easy to spend 3k and supercharge one and make 430whp+ on low boost. It's twice as expensive to build the car underneath that. It STILL has some quite pricey drivetrain mods to boot.

Car still blue books for mid 9k. It's literally a steal for what you are getting extra. IF you can find a nicer one cheaper; buy it NOW. Or go pay 8-10k for a ragged out supercharged car with **** paint/rust/worn interior that's not 100%. Nice stuff is never cheap.

Thanks,
I will be making adjustments here shortly. I think next time I will focus soley on power. Horespower sells. Having a mustang that will hang with a vette on a roadcourse does not lol.

Stupid thing drives like a video game in the twisties haha

Price adjusted to absolute bottom dollar. I'd like to make a move so I'm saving you the months of constant price adjustment. Take it or leave it

Interested parties need to show interest by weeks end; otherwise I'm picking up another power adder and going to town.

Hey I just wanted to share something with you my pops actually told me, ha.

For cars and other toys like ours, we have to wait for the right buyer for them.

We will put them up for sale and laugh at how good of a deal it is for all the money and time that has been invested in it and how rare of a car it is....and think to ourselves...if i hadnt been driving this thing for the last 5 years and it wasn't in my garage right now, id go buy it RIGHT now! haha!

Regardless you got to understand it is a NA 15 year old SN95 mustang.....and for 10k nowadays you can get A LOT OF CAR.

Im almost positive I didnt write up anything you didnt already know....but it looks like you are going through some stress I have caught putting myself through and I just wanted to give you a reminder.

And this is most definitely my favorite SN95 mustang I have ever seen in my entire life. Mad props. Mad taste.
