Post 1999 Z28 415CI LS6 Turbo Car 30k Or Best Offer

Year: 1999
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $30000
Mileage: 67000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MI
Color: Red
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

I just wanted to put this out there because my car is way overboard for what I was trying to do with it. So I figured I would see if there is any interest out there for cash or possible trades with cash. Keep in mind the car is still being put together right now but since I have a young one at home it is hard to find time to work on the car and be able to do actually enjoy the car. It is a 99 Camaro Z28 with an original 67,000 miles with t-tops and gray interior. The car has a Wolfe Racecraft 10 point cage all painted and very nice, 2 Kirkey seats with seat covers, stock dash and full interior. BMR battery cutoff in the rear with BMR battery tray, and chute mount on the car with the release on the cage. There is also a window net on the car as well. This is a list of what I have with the car and what needs to be done in order to get the car running. The car could be together in a matter of a week or two but just don't have the hours to do it and like I said, I won't have the time to enjoy it as I need to have a cruiser that will fit a baby seat.

Engine: 415CI LS6
A little about the motor, all forged internals, built for boost, studded heads and all ARP fasteners, Evans water pump, Nasty Performance valve covers, T&D rockers, solid roller motor, MSD high torque starter, Edelbrock Victor Jr. coated intake with FAST 102mm TB, Bocsh 160lb injectors, ATI dampner with AVIAD 3 stage dry sump. Cost of the motor and all accessories on it with all oil lines and AN fittings for oil system: $14750

Trans: Rossler TH400 Reverse manual valve body with Neal Chance Converter and Lokar dipstick. Cost: $4700

Suspension: QA1 adjustables all the way around, Spohn upper and lower A-arms, Strange race brakes all the way around with Strange manual master with proportioning valve and line lock, Wolfe offset lower control arms, Wolfe mini tub, BMR Xtreme torque arm, BMR panhard rod and BMR TH400 trans mount and more. Cost of all: $6550

Wheels: Weld Magnums front 15x3.5 and rear 15x10 with 325/50R15 Mickey Thomspon drag radials on the rear and Mickey Thompson ET front runners. Cost of those was about: $3000

Fuel System: Nasty Performance sumped tank with all Magna fuel pump and boost regulator all lines and AN fittings: $2800

Engine Management: Big Stuff 3 with all harnesses and Racepack setup with initial startup tune already on the box. Cost $3600

Turbo Setup: Shearer Performance turbo set up, headers, crossover, all lines and fittings, all hotparts are coated, Tial blowoff and wastegate, Precision 88mm Promod turbo with coated exhaust, huge air to air intercooler and all other parts to assemble. Cost: $11700

Rear End: Strange 12 bolt narrowed 3" on each side with 40 spline gun drilled axles. Cost: $3600

I think that is all I can think of but this is just a general idea of what I am working with. I didn't short change anything. I have been putting this build together for going on over 5 years. From what I have been told on the setup is 10 lbs of boost should be pushing around the 1000hp mark and then up from there. Again, I don't have the time or the energy to finish the car but just in parts and drivetrain alone, I am sitting on over $50k in parts alone plus the car. I do have a Griffin radiator for the car and the only thing that is needed for the car are cooling fans and a trans cooler. Everything else is ready to go. The engine and trans are in the car. The car is a full roller and we just started outting the turbo kit together. Every part on the car is brand new. So I would like to see what kind of offers are out there. If somebody is looking for a stout car and setup to start racing, this is it. You would just have to finish putting it together. Feel free to email me directly at tmorales@motorcitycar-go.com or PM me on here or even text me at 313-790-5592. What I would be looking for if it was a trade plus cash would be a newer Roush Mustang convertible or Shelby, or another 4th Gen Camaro SS that is an automatic stalled with hopefully a big cube that has heads and cam work done to it. Bring all serious offers as I think I can finally say I have to let it go to someone that will finish it and enjoy it. This is an easy 1200hp race/streetcar. I will not let 5 years of brand new parts and time into the car go for nothing. So let me know if you would have any interest and we can talk from there. I know there is a ton of things I have forgot but we can go through it all then. I do have some pictures of the car but you basically get an idea of what all is included. But if someone comes with 30k or somewhere close, I will definitely have some interest.
Thanks.

Tony

Wow, nice car bud. You really did your homeowrk and put together some top notch pieces there. Car will be a beast once done. hell I would just throw a 101 on it and run radial. Car has the build to go 7's easy with the right power adder. Nice and good luck. I wonder how many hours are left for a shop to put it together, running and tuned?

Thanks brother, it took me a long time to get all of this together but I have all of the parts, just a matter of finishing putting it together. I have a 325 radial on it now and the 88 is good for it now, it being a first time turbo car. Mostlikely I will finish it up in the next month or two. I will post some pictures up here tonight. It definitely has 8's in it and I am sure 7's once it gets tuned. But I didn't shortchange anything. So we will see what happens. If we had a good 40 hours to work on it, it could all be together and fired up.

Just to let everyone know I would end up taking $30000 for the car with the engine, trans, turbo setup and Big Stuff. Everything is brand new, just needs to be finished putting together. If anyone is interested, give me a call at 313-790-5592.
