Default '99 Z28 X275 roller or possible part out....

Year: 1999
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $10000
Mileage: 74000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): FL
Color: White
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Alright, it's time to part with my baby as I am actually having a baby and I just don't have the time or money to dedicate to the car anymore. I was building it for X275, would like to sell it as a roller and it would be a great start for anyone looking to run X275 or Outlaw radial. The car needs rear brakes, a motor and your choice of power adder and a fuel system to run. Now on to the good ****, it's a '99 Z28, arctic white hardtop stripper (no power options, very light car). It's got a glide in it with a JW case and bellhousing, tsi 1.80 first gear set, pro tree brake, pro mod drum, tsi nasa input shaft, this thing was built for 2,000 hp and is a bad bitch! I also have an FTI SSW 4400 converter, it's the same converter all the big 275 cars are running around here. Tranny has 6 passes on it before my nitrous motor had a ring problem. The rearend is brand new and has no passes or street miles on it, same goes for the rear suspension. It's a fab 9" from midwest chassis narrowed 4" each side with 40 spline gun drilled strange axles, strange ultracase third member, richmond 3.50 pro gears, all the best of the best, also built for 2,000 hp. You can ask eric @ midwest chassis about the rear, it is badass and no expenses spared. All the rear suspension is from midwest chassis as well. The car has qa1's all around with 275lb springs up front, stock springs in the rear. It sits on 15x10 3.5" backspacing weld draglites out back with mickey 275/60-15 radials on 'em and 15x3.5 draglites up front with vw beetle tires on 'em. The car has a VFN sunoco to the windshield hood on it that's held on with dzus fasteners. I have a stock ecm for it that I can throw in and my stock harness that has been lightened. Right now there is no interior in the car because I was going to switch everything from tan to black but never got around to it. Dash and wiring is out, but will come with the car. It has a chromemoly 10 pt cage. The car was certified to 8.50, but needs to be recerted, it has expired since the car has been down.

I'm looking to get $10,000 firm for the car, the tranny and rearend alone cost about $9,000, not to mention everything else that is in the car. I would just rather see the car get finished and used to it's potential than just sitting in my garage. Hopefully someone else will get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. Let me know if you're interested, and no low ball offers. I'm firm on 10, or i'll let it sit till i'm 50 and then finish it, haha!

I also have an '06 Anderson open trailer for sale. 18' plus a 2' dove tail. Ran me $3600 new, looking to get $1800 unless you want to buy the roller and the trailer, then i'd throw the trailer in for $1400.

Let me know if you're interested, thanks and i'll post up pics later when I get a chance.

Also, may be willing to part it if I can get everything sold off it, make some offers if interested in certain parts of it.

Wouldn't it be better, to just leave her and finish your car.

Sorry Brian, I hate to get rid of it, but I hate just seeing her sitting in the garage not being in her glory and living up to her potential! You sold yours to buy a house, so you have really have no room to talk. You want to buy her and finish her up? I'd rather her stay in the family, that'd,be awesome, at leadt I know shed be taken care of.

Thanks man. I was going forced induction, just never got to finish. Dropped about 4500 on the tranny, then about 4800 on the rear and was getting ready to upgrade the chassis to 25.2 and then I got laid off from att and had to blow all the money I had set aside while I was out of work. Then I was making crap money for about a year and I finally just got back in with att and making decent money again, but have my first kid on the way now, so I just don't have the time or money to devote to racing. I just want to get a nice street car that I can drive around and enjoy and not have to work on all the time.

Here's some pics:

Nose clip is currently off the car, but I have it and the body is in good shape, but needs a paint job, hood is still unpainted as well as nose clip.

I do have a 5.3 short block that has arp rod bolts and the ring gaps opened up for boost that I was going to sell separate, but if it would make the deal, i'll throw it in with it.

I see you're in psl, if you want to come check everything out, let me know. Cell - (954) 304-4601

Bump for today.

Also, forgot to mention in the original post that the front brakes are aerospace drag brakes.
