Default 1969 Chevy C10 Shortbed Pro Street/ Tubbed/ 5.3/ TH400

69 C-10 Shortbed from California, Pro streeted in '99, brought here to Iowa/ Illinois border 3-4 years ago.

Swap and all new stuff has less than 500 miles on it

80k mile 5.3, stock - car intake
2.5" dual exhaust with flowmasters- sounds great
Fuel injection works great, fans controlled by PCM etc, get in and drive!
Fresh TH400, 2000 stall
Ladder bar/ coilover suspension.
Front disc brakes
15x14 rear wheels with 31 x 18.50 tires

Body is real decent, however the current paint is horrible-4 out of 10. I can see evidence of inner rockers being replaced, but there is no carpet and the floors are great, underneath is pretty nice. The bed is very nice with no evidence of repair ever. Overall a very solid truck.

Engine and drivetrain is great, starts right up, runs fine, sounds good

What this truck needs:

Interior :
- Carpet
- Steering wheel
- Better seat (bench would be great) and seat belts
- Dash pad
- Dash cluster has issues, printed circuit is in poor shape - replacements are available

The interior would be great with those items taken care of

Exterior :
- Paint Job...sucks
- Hood, 4" cowl is in pretty poor shape and is pin on, a new bolt on cowl would be great

Suspension :
- Front springs are cut....should have drop spindles and good springs for a better ride
- Rear spring rate is wrong, someone guessed at it so it rides rough

Misc:
- No heater, I cleaned up the firewall, best bet would be to buy underdash unit from Flex-a-lite, they are small, affordable, clean looking and work well
- Tires.......are shot...and old bias ply anyway....needs new Pro Stret Radials

Truck is located on Iowa/ Illinois border. I have driven it around and its pretty fun and attention getting. With some work it could be a high dollar piece, and the hard drivetrain EFI stuff is all done.

Price is $8000

Got an offer?....shoot.....got a trade under $3k plus cash....lemme know I might consider it

that is badass man. Where is the PCM stashed? What rear end/gear ratio? Does if have any rust? From the pictures it looks pretty clean. I have been wanting one of these for a long time...since I sold my 71. Dumb move on my part.

PCM is behind glove box with relays/ circuit breaker, etc. OBD2 port under dash, check engine light near key. Truck has slight rust on doors you can see in pics

I figured that was where it was. That's where I'd have put it too! Nicely done man. Is the rust eating through or is it just surface at this point? You have a pm.
