2002 SOM 35th Street/Race Car F/S!!
I hate to sell her but with just recently getting engaged and looking for a house I need to sell her to free up some cash. I am the 3rd owner and bought the car from my friend in Nov of 07. The original owner was the dealer from where the car was delivered to. I bought this from my friend as a 100% street car and have converted it into what you see today. You can pull the slicks and skinnies off and still drive the car anywhere or leave it like it is and run high 9's all day long! The car looks like a sleeper but it is definitly anything but that. The pictures that I am posting are what was taken of it last fall along with the videos aswell. The car is currently getting a brand new Mike Moran 5inch VFN cowl hood installed. It is a pin on hood but along with the sale of this you will get the stock hood. And once I get it out of the shop which is supposed to be next week I will post pic of the new hood. The car is fully gutted with the exception of the stock carept and weighed in at 3230 last fall. That was with it set up ready to race. Here is the run down of the car:
2002 SOM 35th Aniversary Edition Z28
I want to say the mileage is around 80K but I will know for sure the exact mileage when I pick the car up.
Motor:
-stock ci LS1
-g5x2 cam (232-240)
-stock stg 2 ported heads from Mikey from Rapid
-Heavy duty springs
-Fast 90/90mm
Trans:
-Coan th400 w/ transbrake
-TCI 3800 NOS converter
-2 tranny coolers
-steel 3inch drive shaft
Rear:
-strange 12 bolt w/4.10
-strange rear drag brakes
Suspension:
-Qa1 front 12 way adjustable shocks
-strange 12 way adjustable rear shocks
-spohn Lower Control Arms - Adj. with Poly Bushings
-spohn Adj. Torque Arm - LS1 F-Body w/Long Tubes w/drive shaft loop
-spohn 1" (25mm) Solid 4140 Rear Sway Bar
-BMR Double adjustable panhard bar
-BMR K-member
Exhaust:
-Kooks 2inch race headers 3 1/2 collectors
-Stubby race mufflers with turn downs "race exhaust"
-True duals system with summit race mufflers "streetable exhaust"
Mics:
-B&M pro stick shifter "composite"
-Raptor shift light
-Jaz race seats w/5 pt race harnesses
-dual bottle brackets
-car will come with 3 10lb bottles w/matching paint
-full NOS hidden dry kit w/125,150,175,200 jets. I may have some others laying around
-two bottle heaters
-Grant detachable steering wheel
-FJO nitrous progressor
Wheels:
-Welds front and rear
-30's on the back
I know there is probably a few things I am missing and forgot to add so if you have any questions about anything then please ask me. Racing season is about to start and this car is perfect as it is streetable AND also ready for the track. The car with 26" tires in cold air at Cecil dragway went a 10.4 ALL MOTOR. Right now the car has 30" on it and the best I have gone on that was a 9.87 with a 175 dry shot. The car has plenty more in it and as you will see from the vids it hooks very well. I did stand the car up in the one video and smashed the headers "edelbrocks" and cracked the oil pan. But that was all replaced! You will not be disappointed with this car! Its a rare color, the last year that made them, and its a 35th aniversary. I am asking 15,500 OBO.
All the videos with the exception of the one where it stands striaght up were all motor! They were with 28" tires on and me running the 10.8.

Due to the flood of messages I am going back to the shop tomorrow and take some interior pics and some side shots of the hood......lol. The hoos is getting painted to match the car AND the stock hood will be included in the sale of this. The car does not stay out in the snow or in any bad weather no worries. This is a very good friend of the family who takes very good care of the car. I can't really rush him because he is doing all this on the side and only charging me 200.00 to paint it. But I will say that he cused me out today because it took him almost 10 hours to fit the hood up and cut it down to fit perfectly......lol. They pull it out during work hours unless its bad and then it goes back in the shop at night.......

Thanks man I have had a few more PM's come in but some people are going out to get a loan and yea I'm sure you know the routine...not trying to offend anyone here but I have 8 days to sell it or the fiance and I don't get our house. I just have had a lot and I mean A LOT of tire kickers on here so far. It just blows my mind that I can have atleast 6 people that wanted to actually come see the car and make an attempt to buy it when I had it listed for 15,500 OBO, and now that I am at my bottom dollar which is my payoff no one is around....and thats 5500 cheaper then what I was originally trying to get....anyways guys thanks for the looks and messages...I hope somone actually comes through.
And I know that a lot of you are asking why I cut all the wires and why there is no interior pieces....this car was stripped down with the purpose of being the lightest and fastest stock ci stock internal car in my area..which I acheived that goal plus some....but if the car didnt need it to run then it was taken out......
