Default 1998 Z28: $8,000 obo

1998 Camaro Z28
  • 86,XXX miles
  • 4L60
  • Hard-top
  • Power seats, doors, driver seat, keyless entry
  • Non rear defrost/TCS car
  • Gray cloth
  • Chrome 16” five-stars
  • Pacesetter non-EGR long-tubes, Pace’ off-road Y-pipe, 18” Sweet Thunder, 3.73s
  • EGR, AIR, rear o2s delete and speedometer recalibration done with HP Tuners

This is a three owner car with a clean title. I’ve had it a tad over a year now and I’m seriously considering getting into a Foxbody. It’s been trouble free so far with the exception being the AC Compressor. It would blow cold, but the pulley started getting noisy so I took it off. I’ve run Castrol Syntec at 3,000 mile intervals, premium only and kept up on general maintenance. It’s clean and straight, but has a few scratches and dings like you might expect from an 11 year old daily driver. I’d also suggest two new tires sometime soon. If I’m forgetting anything, I’ll add it later.

Before the gear swap, I managed a best of 12.9 @ 106 with a 1.9 60ft. This was on the same Khumos she’s rocking now. I drive my car, but don’t beat and abuse her.

  • Lowballerz? I don’t really care whether or not the car sales, but figured it’s worth a try.
  • Traders? Not interested, so let’s keep the crotch rockets and Grand Ams at bay fellows.
  • Punk kids? Check the Non LSX section. The Civics and such can be found there.

I'll have to bolt the sway bars and endlinks on this weekend. I will also get more recent pictures when the weather clears. The front grill has been removed for some time now. She also needs a good cleaning before anyone gets a look.

Just to give you an idea how she looked on the 'Vette wheels.

$8,000 O.B.O.

Is it the Gumby green or asking price that's turning you folks away?

Dude, what's with not reading the rules of the forum? I see no arrogance in his post, only truth.

Check on the trade and punk kids section, he mentioned about crotch rockets, grand ams and civics, what's wrong with them? Just say no trades if he doesn't want to trade

The crotch rockets and Grand Ams comment was a joke on the usual trades I see pop up. The punk kid reference goes for snot nose brats who's folks buy them quick cars that they rag the hell out of. I'd rather keep it than sell it to someone who won't take care of it. They can go find a Civic to put into a guard rail.

Do you fit one or both of these bills? If so, shop here.

S'all gravy. With the way the market is and the deals I'm seeing on here, I doubt this thing gets a bite.

Time for that Yank, eh Jetlag?

Hey man we will have to mix it up next time I am at memphis. I wish I had the extra money I would throw you an offer. If there is anyone interested in this car I will back it up and the owner is good guy. Don't let the comment about punk kids imply he is arrogant. Just look at where he is from.....LOL. Free Bump and nice car
