Its a great strong running car. My reason for selling has nothing to do with the title or that something is messed up, I assure you that everything is in good working order and mechanically is the same. Oil changed every 3000 miles or 3 months whichever came first. Its been my pride and joy but I want to get into a mustang.

$12.5 on an R title 01 is a pretty steep hill to climb man...........
just to give you an FYI, having ANY kind of reconstructed title drops the cars value by 50% right off the top.
here is the cars value if it had a clear title in all classes

not to thrash your thread but your not going to get anywhere near $12,500 for it no matter how good it looks in person.
ill give you an offer of $7000 before i even see it

It is my understanding that the drivers side was t-boned on the drivers door. A local guy that restores camaros and trans ams (that only deals with cars WITHOUT frame damage) bought it and repaired it.
To tell you what kind of shape it was in, he drove it home when he bought it (after the wreck) with the drivers door off.

t-boned drivers door........
yeah $7000 is all id give for it........
it might be pure sex when seen in person like you said but, an "R" title is an "R" title. with the way the car sale market is these days too ill be pretty shocked if you get more then that

Not trashing this thread or sell either, but that is a bit steep for a salvage titled car. I've been looking for one of these for awhile here in NC, and $12.5K is upper crust clean title kinda money for this car w/ decent miles. Did you have any issues getting insured with that title? I'd go $7K-$8K cash in hand if you're selling and you can keep the speakers.

Im also willing to negotiate on the price. Im well aware no one would give that for a salvage title car. If someone makes an offer PM me and we can talk it out.

from the posts in your F/S thread im glad im not the only one feeling that the askin price is a bit steep
