68 firebird lsx platform price dropped
looking at maybe selling my 68 firebird,if you get this thing i promise you wont be dissapointed i challenge you to go find another roller as nice as this one for the price
it has had a great start already, only rust(that can be seen) left to replaced is in the drip rail under the trunk lid and hidden,it was already neutralized and painted when the rest of the body was done several years ago
the rear subframe was replace and braced with cross bars,really nice job along with the rear suspension all painted black
the trunk pan and a few spots of the floor under the passenger compartment were already cut out and replaced with patch panels,the under carriage front subframe ,firewall and some of the interior have all been painted black already
car was already modified for a ls based engine and a t56 tranny
pedals and clutch hydraulic cylinder already mounted
comes with tranny crossmember and ls1 motor mounts
12 bolt with moser axles not sure on spline, and a spool
q1a adjustable coilovers in the back on a protouring half leaf, link bar setup
adjustable q1a coilovers up front on stock a arms with new bushings
car has new drums in the back and is already upgraded to disks in the front
also has been setup with a modern power steering setup, all new stuff
all new urethane body and suspension bushings already installed
there is also a brand new fuel tank with a ls style drop in pump already installed
also already has the 400 hood with it,and also comes with a few boxes full of stock brackets, gauges,and other stuff(odometer reads 50,000 and some change)
im sure there is alot that i am missing but if you have any questions pm me and if you would like to speak to me just leave a number
i need this gone so ill take $5000 firm for it right now

the body is straight and has actually already had all the bodywork done to it and painted but the guy ran out of money and the body shop never finished clearcoating the front fenders and hood so they are all faded and scratched
if it werent for that i wouldnt even worry about paint for it right now
as far as i can tell the body is all original i have found factory green overspray on almost everything so it appears factory and i know that this car sat in that body shop for about ten years and in another shop for several years before so it has been sheltered nearly half its life atleast
all of the glass is perfect no chips or cracks
the interior is non existent the only interior i have is the factory dash of course,two late model 98-02 trans am bucket seats already installed factory console and custom shifter plate and a modified t56 shifter that comes out in the right location
if it werent for that i wouldnt even worry about paint for it right now

i posted some pics guys sorry my wifes camera cord isnt working for some reason so these are cellphone pics
it is a very straight and clean car and has alot already done and well over the asking price already invested
sorry i will try to get better interior pics but that is basically it everything inside is being stripped, sanded and painted black,probably 2/3's done with sides dash and rear but still need floor also
also that is a photo of the rust under the trunk lid which as i said is covered and not worth cutting out to me when the trunk lid covers it,but it is like that on the sides and top of drip rail

yes i do have the front fenders and bumper
the fenders need to be repainted they were never cleared and are scratched and dull because of that
the bumpers look ok have some pull marks where someone hooked a chain or something
i had planned on new bumpers any how for $350 why not

come on guys no one wants a rustfree 1st gen firebird with a built rear end and sweet suspension,modern powersteering and diskbrakes and is already modified for an lsx beast

I'd like some pics of the interior the way it is, and of the hood, not real clear on the style of hood your referring to. Also, of the rust damage you speak of.

i have the front bumper and there is some of the brackets and grill trim pices mixed in with the boxes of parts i have not sure what all is in there i have looked through some of it but alot of it i couldnt tell you what it was anyway
havent been around too many first gen that still had stock anything really
right now i have it sitting on 4th gen spare tires in the front and weld 15x8,s in the back,but they have the wrong backspacing wont clear if you ever squat the car
