For Sale: 2002 M6 Collector Edition Coupe
2002 Collector Edition Trans Am Coupe, located in Valparaiso, IN, was ordered with all available options, including M6 transmission, traction control, hurst shifter, 12-disc trunk mounted CD changer, rear deck trophy mat and dealer installed alarm system. As a one owner vehicle, this Trans Am comes with a clean title, all paperwork including the original build sheet from GM, the window sticker and all the “extras” that were sent to original owners of Collector Editions, as well as the original t-top sun-shades and the never-used “Collector Edition” floor mats, still in the plastic bags they came in. It has always been garage kept, has NEVER seen rain or snow, and has NEVER been in an accident. With just over 12K original miles, this “show quality” Trans Am has barely been broken in. As an added bonus, any original parts removed or replaced for modifications, have been cleaned and stored, so the next owner will have the option of returning the car to its original factory delivered state if they so choose.
Modifications include:
Interior - Silver gauge faces, Lloyd’s mats with silver embroidered chicken-hawk, custom tinted windows, WS6 aluminum pedals and actual engine specifications dash plaque.
Exterior – Clear front side marker lenses, T/A license plate frame, 17x9 Torque Thrust M with 255/40R17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in front & 17x10.5 Torque Thrust M with 285/40R17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in the rear. Also a few discretely added decals.
Engine compartment dress-up – Custom collector yellow fuel rail covers, SLP strut tower brace, Fiberglass PCM cover, MBA dipstick handle, Oil fill cap, & “Last of the Breed” head plate, stainless hex-head screw set and carbon fiber high-flow air lid with K&N filter.
Suspension - BMR adjustable panhard bar and panhard bar relocation kit, and Ground Control coil-over lowering springs.
Performance – Skip shift eliminator, TCS reverse module, SLP 85mm mass-air-flow sensor and smooth bellows, Comp Cams 224/224 .581/.581 114 LSA custom grind camshaft, Patriot dual spring kit (including titanium retainers, dual springs, seats and seals, direct bolt on & good to .650 lift), Comp Cams 7.400” chrome moly push rods, Hypertech 160 degree powerstat, ASP underdrive crank pulley and NGK TR55 copper spark plugs with Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm plug wires.
Exhaust – Hooker ceramic coated long-tube headers with Stage 8 locking header bolts, Random-tech high flow catalytic converters, custom fabricated (Speed Inc.) “true-duals” exhaust, Magna-Flow 2.5 inch bullet mufflers and Corsa Pro Series 3.5 inch chrome exhaust tips.
All performance and exhaust work was professionally done at approximately 10,400 miles, in April 2005, by Speed Inc. in Schaumburg, IL, at which point the car was dyno-tuned and put down 403 RWHP and 380 RWTQ. The wheels and tires were installed in May of 2007 and have only about 400 miles on them. The only two known “flaws”, are a tiny knick (literally tiny) on the top of the rear spoiler and a small spot of curb rash on one wheel. Otherwise, this car is show quality perfect.

My post states that I have all original parts, and that nothing is other than bolt on. I have the stock exhaust and lid, and the wheels, all cleaned and ready to go with the car. It could be completely returned to stock if necessary.
