1999 Camaro SS F1a Procharged This car is a monster! Dyno graph shows 810 rwhp with the new Procharger F-1A blower running at 14-15psi boost! The six speed makes this car a blast to hit the streets and put a hurting on the cobra crowd. This car was built for street use and has only been to the track 2 times with about 4 runs each. The engine has about 4500 miles. On mickey drag radials the best the car did was a 10.6 @ 134mph with an awful 2.1sec 60' times (tires couldn't hold) I was happy with mid-10's and everyone was saying that with slicks the car would go high-9's to low-10's EASILY with 134 mile per hour trap speeds! I haven't ran the new twin disc clutch at the track (clutch has about 1500 miles), those times were with a stage 5 spec, this super twin from spec grabs much better!
The modifications are as follows:
ENGINE
- LQ9 6.0L Iron Block
- LQ9 open chamber heads Manley Pro Flow valves
- stock forged crankshaft
- Callies Comp Star H-Beam Rods
- Diamond forged 9.2:1 pistons
- SLP high pressure oil pump
- Double roller timing chain
- 1.7 Comp Pro Mag Roller Rocker Kit
- Hardend Comp Pro Mag Push rods
- Comp Dual Valve spring kit with titanium retainers good for .700 lift
- Bullet Racing Custom Gring .610 lift
- ARP Head Studs and Main Studs
- Edelbrock step long-tube headers $450
- Billet fuel rails $175
- 65 lb/hr edge injectors $480
- Dual 255gph Walbro electric fuel pumps $250
- Flowmaster exhaust
- PROCHARGER F-1A head unit, intercooled $3800
- front mount 3 row intercooler setup $1300
Short block was about $4k, the Valvetrain cost around $1600 so engine alone - just in parts - about $6500!

CLUTCH

- Strange Driveshaft with Hardened output shaft - $400

- Tubular Lower Control arms
- Adjustable Tourque arm relocater (removes tourque arm from transmission)
- Rear Lower Control arms

I was thinking of either putting an F1A on my Cobra or selling it for another F-body. Do you have any current vids etc.... Why are you selling if you just spent all that money?
