Default 1998 Trans Am $5000 OBO

I have a 1998 Trans Am with slight roll over damage, clean title and history. Was a very fun car till the rear end went out coming around a corner, witch then turn into a hell of a ride that I don't want to have again. This car has had the best oils since new, changed about every 3,000 miles. Mostly stock, accept shift kit, SLP long tubes, free flowing cats, and a y-pipe. I know it has a K&N air filter, may have a lid. The car over all was in good shape, interior still in great shape. Would like to see the car rebuilt, but if not. Great drivetrain, with lots of great parts. If all else fails... Will part it out...

Here's pics the day after the wreck, before cleaning glass out.

They are all in good shape, I had always cleaned them real well. Only thing wrong with the interior. Is some peaces, are scratched from all the glass (minor scratch). I will snap better pics latter today of the interior. Start pricing stuff out better.

But let me throw this out here. I listed the price only because I seen a local Z28 that went into a light pole for similar price. So I figured this is a good base to start from. I am very reasonable on the number I will accept, as that number will either give me enough to put down on a car, or buy a nice 1980 T/A with the money I already have.

The other, the only thing the holds me back. Is if I can sell the engine and trans, the big ticket items. I have no problem splitting parts up, selling parts off. Because I know that's where most the money is at, I can probably make a nice chunk off it. Witch in turn, gives me enough for the above.

Or

I have enough parts claimed to satisfy the above. Because mean time, I am driving my stepdads C4 witch is a POS. Plus it's not mind and don't want to drive it for long.

Glad your alright! Thats amazing that you rolled that car and didn't damage the hood, fenders, bumpers or skirts! Wow! You lucked out. Good luck with the sale/part out.

As long as they dont have or are starting to have the infamous door panel cracks. Just keep me informed.

In all honesty shines I think it's better to part it out unless you could find someone who is either fixing another wrecked car or is doing a complete drivetrain swap to another car. You will probably see more money from the parts than selling off the car as a whole to someone who is only interested in the essential parts. We already talked on ls1.com on what I'd like if you decide to part it out...

There's someone locally who wants the engine/trans/wire harness/k member/rear end and part of the interior. Just trying to talk him into buying the entire car... But I think this is a kid who wants to upgrade his 94 V6 Firebird, that his parents bought him. I will probably be pulling parts this week, really need another car.
