***PRICE REDUCED***
$33,000
FOR SALE:
2001 Quick silver Z06.
8850 miles.
All black interior.
GMPP Major Guard(which is GM) 60/50,000 with a $200 ded.
It expires on 9/7/06.
I just recently hired Modern Day Muscle Cars of Atlanta Ga, to build and install a Forged Blower motor in my 2001 Z06.
Here are some general specs on the engine:
The engine is stock displacement, balanced and blueprinted.
Comp valve springs
Comp hardened pushrods
Cometic head gaskets
Full ARP bolt kit: main, rod, head and etc.
The Engine Dynoed 367 HP and 358 Tq.
Keep in mind the compression was lowered over 2 full numbers and it has a blower camshaft.
This bottom end was built to safely hold 700+ horsepower.
The bottom end of the engine is exactly the same one Sean at MDMC used to run 9.86 @ 142.
Modern Day Muscle Cars LLC is home of the Nations fastest stock 346 CID, single D - 1 Procharged, 6- speed Z06 Corvette in the nation, running a 9.86 @ 142mph 3400 pound race weight.

The 8.3:1 compression will allow you to run 10-12 psi of boost on 93 octane fuel. This car is PERFECT starting place to add a supercharger, or turbo. There is no reason this car wont make 650+ rear wheel hp just adding a procharger stage 2 kit with a d1 head unit and tuning.
Other performance parts:
Racetronix intank fuel pump kit
TPIS long tube headers
OFF ROAD Magnaflow X pipe
LS1 Edit
K&N air filter
180 degree thermostat
MSD spark plug wires
Autometer electric fuel pressure guage mounted on A pillar.
Autometer boost guage mounted on A pillar.
Short shifter handle.
Other parts include:
2003-2004 steel lugnuts
Sound deadening trunk mat
Trunk partition
Z06 floor mats
Short radio antenna
LLumar window tint
Transmission/Clutch/Flwheel
Spec V clutch and pressure plate (1200 miles old)
Billit Aluminum Flywheel (1200 miles old)
Pro Motion Built 6 speed. (500 miles old)
Including:
Carbon fiber blocker rings,
Promotion Gear set,
Steel shift forks
Anyone that has owned a 1997-2002 C5 and tried to go fast has more than likely broken a shift fork. GM didnt upgrade from aluminum shift forks to steel forks until 2003. This has never made sense to me, since all the viper and 03 cobra t56's came with the good steel fork.
Anyone that has built an engine or planned an engine build knows that Ls1/Ls6's are pretty expensive to work on. You also know that to plan, and execute an engine build takes months of precious time. This project took over FIVE MONTHS to complete.
I spent:
JE CUSTOM blower pistons with coating- $1050
JE CUSTOM piston rings - $430
Lunati pro mod rods - $800
Cometic head gaskets - $275
ARP bolts - $385
Custom grind blower camshaft - $500
Comp Hardened pushrods - $120
Comp valve springs - $189
Balancing and misc machine work - $1000
Spec stage V clutch and billit flywheel - $1000
Promotion Transmission - $2250
Over $3750 just in removal, assembly, and installation of engine and transmission.
Total cost on the projectwas right at $12,000 and over 6 months down time.
I was planning on adding a procharger D1 head unit to this combo. The engine is set up to run 10-12 psi of boost on 93 octane fuel.
The engine was installed about 2 months ago, and since then, has been driven around 1000 miles. Of course it is still naturally aspirated to break it in properly. I have changed the oil 5 times, since the engine was fired up the first time. I have used mobil 1 5w30 nonsynthetic during the break in process and the first 5changes.
I am pricing it at:
$33,000
If you want to build a z06, you want a low mileage car and you dont want to wait 6 months to have it all done, here is the car for you.
There is no reason that with my stage 2 blower kit and a procharger d1 head unit installed and tuned this car wont make 650+ rear wheel hp.
Please feel free to email me with any questions or info you feel I may have left out of this.
The car is located outside of ATLANTA, GA.
Please just email me rather than sending me a PM. I check my email several times a day.

posting dyno data for this car.
The water temp was 202 F when this last pull was made. There were other cars in line to dyno so I didnt have a chance to cool the car down for the last pull.
Still I think 367hp 358tq is VERY respectable for a 8.3:1 compression motor with a blower cam.
This thing will SCREAM with a blower or a turbo set up.
