01 VW GTI VR6 GLX in austin !SOLD!
I hope you guys don't mind me posting this here...my 98 z28 has been sold now for a while, but I'm hoping to sell the VW and get another ls1 car. But can't trade this one b/c financing. Anyway...here goes....
I love this car. Really do..BUT me and my fiance like to fix our own autos when there is something to be fixed...and we've come to realize that all the tools in our garage are useless when it comes to German engineering.
The car is beautiful, detailed and clean. Black on black. About 68,000 on it now (still driving it though). Its a GLX, so you get it all..heated seats, etc etc etc. Cruise, radio controls on the steering wheel, six disc changer, heated side mirrors, traction control (or whatever VW calls it). I just turned the rotors, brakes in great shape, slotted rotors. Sport Suspension package (with the addition of H&R springs), cat back exhaust (Auto Tech) that sounds great. The ONLY bad is a small ding from an idiot in a parking lots and one of my own idiotic moves on the drivers side door. I hardly notice it anymore. Drives, runs and sounds great. I'm looking to get $13,200 OBO. I'm in Austin TX area. I have always use synthetic oils every 3-4k in every and any car I have had, including this dime turner.
Not interested in any trades.
Thanks for looking.
Oh, and it gives my '96 Impala SS hell...
