Default wrecked 2002 subaru wrx

i am needing to sell my black 2002 subaru wrx 5 speed that was in an accident and has front end damage i thought it was going to be an easy fix so i got the frontend pulled out and ready for parts and then found out that the timing belt was broken and so i put $400 in new timing belt and gears expecting it to run and when that was installed it wouldn't start so i did a compression test and all cylinders are low. so it probly has bent valves. so if you can get the motor fixed or replace with a 2.5 sti motor like i would like but dont have time to do it this would be a great high performance car. will run high twelves all day

It just had the trans rebuilt and new clutch/flywheel
full ehaughst 4inch all the way
cold air intake
and more mods i cant remember
right now will post later
it dynoed 320 all wheel hp
great feeling if you get it running

What cold air intake . Also, did you put a blow off valve on it? 4" exhaust? why? 320 on a stock turbo to the wheels??? Hermmmm....this sounds a little suspect to me.

Stock turbo would explode at 20 psi. No WRX will run 12's all day with a stock 5 speed either. A blowoff valve will do nothing for performance. 320whp would require a bigger turbo, bigger intercooler, and injectors at the least in addition to exhaust. AWD cars dyno pretty low, so 320 at the wheels would easily be over 400bhp.

Ok, stock turbos won't explode @ 20 psi, but they will seriously heat the charge. That TD04 is small and does a great job for what it is, but to make serious power, ya have to go else where. I agree that there is no way you're gonna make much more than 260~280 @ the wheels if you're lucky (that's with a super good tune, and either race gas or a good methonal injection kit and tune) on a stock turboed 2.0L. As far as running 12s, there are a few (few the key word) running into the 12s with good MPH (like 105~107) on the aformentioned setup, but those dudes aren't even running 4" exhausts (it's not nessecary).

As far as making 500 horse on 20psi with exhaust and a turbo, yeah, most likely on a GT 30R or a GT35R. Not too many bolt on turbos with external waste gates are making over 500 to the wheels.

420 to the wheels with a good setup and an upgraded bolt on turbo, yeah, I'll buy that for a 2.5 STi block. 280 or so on a stock turboed 2.0L yeah, I'll buy that too.
