Default 1999 Trans Am $3000 OBO

Hi, everyone!! I have a '99 Trans Am that was hit by a drunk driver about a month ago. It has $6200 in damage including the pass. front suspension, wheel, bumper, fender, cross member, some upper frame damage, headlight motor ... I haven't seen the complete list, but that's what I know. The title is CLEAN - this is not a salvage. THE CAR IS NOT DRIVEABLE, THOUGH. LOCAL ONLY, unless you have a trailer and can come pick it up.

I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and need to unload the car ASAP. Please do me a favor and help me out if you know anyone who needs the car for parts or wants to fix it, etc. I would like to get about $3000 for the whole car as-is. I'll entertain offers, too. The interior, engine, trans, the rest of the body is all in good condition with no rust. It is an automatic. The car is located near Schaumburg, IL.

I forgot to mention, the car has a K&N filter and an after-market exhaust as well.

It's the upper frame and you can't even tell. It's not the support frame. I don't think it would be hard to fix, if you even have to do anything with it.

I can't accept $2500 at this time. Too much interest in the car and I need enough to pay off the loan - that doesn't quite cut it. Sorry

I just got the car back from the body shop today, along with the parts they've already removed from the car (the fender, etc). They've already done the work of removing the damaged body parts, so that'll save you some time.

I also had 2 people here locally come look at the car already and they've both made offers, but didn't have the cash with them, so the car is still available. The first guy offered $3250 for the car + the BRAND NEW replacement fender, which is already painted. I planned on selling that separately on eBay, but if you want the fender with the car, let me know when you make your offer. I paid $260 for the fender (the body shop couldn't return it because it had already been painted).

I took some pictures of the car today, too, which I will post here in a few minutes.

I will let you know.

Yes, I was driving the car when it was wrecked. Drunk guy in a 2000 Corvette ran a red light. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have t-boned him at 50 mph and nobody would have walked away. I spent half the weekend in the hospital. But, because I was paying attention and tried to avoid him, everyone was fine, including the baby. I just had a little bruise on my neck from the seat belt and cut the top of my foot on the brake pedal.

'99 Trans Am vs. '00 Corvette .... TA wins. The 'Vette was in a million pieces all over the intersection
