96 Trans Am WS6 T-Tops 81k.....CHEAP For sale is a 1996 Trans Am WS6. 81,XXX miles, I am the third owner. Black outside, dark gray inside with all available options except traction control. RARE WS6 package from the factory: 305hp, different wheels, ram air hood. Modifications include: Hooker Long-tube headers, GMMG exhaust, NX Wet Nitrous System, Vigilante 3200 Torque Converter. ALWAYS changed with Mobil 1 oil. New in last 300 miles: Optispark(distributor), Plugs, Wires, ICM, Ford Motorsports 30# fuel injectors....thats over $1200 new parts in the past month.
***Now the bad: the car has a misfire from the 2000-3000 rpm range ONLY when it has warmed up. It runs PERFECTLY until it has reached operating temps. I have tried to track this down the past month, however I have had no luck in finding it. I am tired of putting money into this so that is why I have decided to take a huge loss on it. Also, there is some minor damage on the passenger door from a shopping cart, but its nothing major.
WS6 cars w/ this kind of mileage go for much more, whoever picks this up is getting a deal. More pics available upon request, email with any questions....price is $5000 obo! The car is located in a suburb of Chicago.

I had the same damn problem with my transam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It pissed me off so much, I never could find out what it was either!

TTT....I will take some new pictures tomorrow including closeups of the passenger side. The paint is in decent shape: a couple little rock chips in front, spider webbing paint on tip of nose (all fbodys have this), and it could use a good buffing in the spring. It gets regular washes and is waxed every three months, but it is a black car so unfortunately its hard to keep perfect. The interior is in good shape except for a small spot of wear on the drivers seat from getting in-and out.

sorry to hear. my old lt1 did the same thing. only thing is it got progressively worse until it was barely driveable. this was several years ago, and i didnt know anything about the car and ended up selling it w/o much troubleshooting. sorry i cant help. -g

Im geussing you dotn want a dsm then? I could post up some pics of it if you like.

New pics added!! Sorry the car is dirty in them, my work was too busy for me to clean it today. The car has never been to the track/on a dyno. I still have the original floormats, they are sitting on a shelf in my room. Any other questions just let me know.
