1972 chevy shortbed for sale or trade $3900 o.b.o Fairly nice 1972 chevy short bed step side for sale. V8, auto, 2wd, runs and drives great for a 72.
Body: truck is reasonable straight for what it is. I am a body man by trade and can tell you anthing that you want to know. The truck has had cab corners and rocker panels replaced, seemed to have done a good job but needs to be smoothed out a little and repainted. All body panels on truck are useable, but need finished out to be slick. some of the body work is not perfect nor is the paint. The truck is exactly in the condition that I purchased it in a short time ago, thought that I needed it but I don't. The truck has also had three cab mounts replaced, but still needs the fourth changed. The wood bed floor is also in good shape, just needes sanded and revarnished.
Interior: the seat has been recovered bright red and looks very nice. Has a rubber floor mat that I was going to replace with carpet. The door panels are not correct for the truck but will work. Dash pad appears to be fairly new and is in great shape.
Engine: I do not know much about the drive train except that it starts and drive good. Will start every time you hit the key and seems to shift out fine. The only problem that I am aware of is that the transmission linkage could use adjusted, and the gas gage needs a sending unit because it doesn't work.
I had big plans for this truck because I am abody man and it would be cheap for me to make this truck a showw stopper. Now i just need to sell it because I have more important needs. Feel free to ask any questions and I will give you a honest response.
