Hello everyone,
I have a 2006 Black/Black OEM 18" wheel six speed manual GTO for $27,200 with only 3000 miles on the odometer. My vehicle has the following over $5000 dollars worth of performance mods professionally installed (essentially the same ZL500 package that SLP sells for the C6 Corvettes):
-GM L76 intake/L92 Heads (mild port work and milled .030 to maintain stock compression)
-American Racing Header 1 7/8" headers with high flow cats
-Magnaflow Catback system including X-Pipe
-LPE CAI
-ASP Underdrive Pulley w/Dayco underdrive pulley belts
-SLP 160 Tstat
-SLP double roller timing chain
-Manley hardened pushrods
-Professional HP Tuners dyno and road tune
-oil has been changed 3 times (500, 1500, 2500)
-only 3 months old
-remaining factory bumper to bumper warranty
-25 MPG on the highway at 80 mph and city averages around 16-17.
-415 RWHP/ 407 ft-lbs RWTQ (~485 crank HP)
I absolutely hate to have to sell this car since it is such a dream to drive but a change in military orders and my son who is growing like a weed (barely fits in the back) is forcing me to sell.
The car has been extremely well taken care of by myself (37 year old, 18 year military veteran) as evidenced by the nearly no wear on any of the tires.
If someone is looking for a sleeper car that has almost as much power at the wheels as a new Z06 LS7, then this is your car.
I kept the stock cam since my son has asthma and I did not want to worry about any emissions issues. The car drives fantastic now and gets better than stock gas mileage, but can easily be upgraded even further with a mild cam if the approximately 485 crank horsepower is not enough to keep you happy.
As a side benefit to the car looking and driving completely stock with the exception of the almost 100 additional HP, you could take the car to a dealer for warranty work with no problem.
I will post up some pictures of the engine bay soon. Serious inquiries only and I would prefer a sale in the Northeast area.
Thanks,
Scott

Initial pics are up, I'll try to get some of the engine bay tomorrow, but again the engine looks completely stock sans the headers and the LPE intake. The L76 intake looks exactly like the stock LS2.

I have surveyed some of the other '06 GTOs listed for sale and have decided to lower my price to $28,900. Based on my cost for the mods and the extreme low miles of my car, this is the absolute lowest I can go. Let me know if anyone is interested.
I should have some pics of the interior and the engine up soon and attached is a link containing some personal references for my car.

Ok guys, since I have a few people on the fence to buy my car and in light of the big car sales everywhere and since I just made another payment on my car, I am now offering it for what I still owe on the note which is $28450.

I've had a few interested people concerned about the reliability of this car due to the mods installed. I researched these mods very carefully before installing because I wanted the most power possible with absolutely zero drivability issues. FYI, this car has probably the best bang for your buck mods while maintaining stock like reliability, drivability and gas mileage. The engine that is now in this car is essentially an LS3 which GM will be putting in the new ’08 vettes. Since I went with the new GM LS7 style heads while maintaining the stock cam, you get cammed performance, but maintain a stock idle, drivability and get just as good if not better gas mileage. On the highway at 80 mph I now get 25 mpg where bone stock I was getting 23-24. In town mileage is just as good as the car was stock. GM did a good job with these L92 heads and you can tell they like em since they are now standard in the Escalade motors, the LS7 ZO6, and the soon to be released LS3 in the new Vette. The entire package on my motor is essentially what SLP is selling as their ZL500 HP package for the C6 vettes. Here is a link to SLP’s site which explains the results of the entire mod package.

To provide another option for potential buyers,
I have contacted GMAC, who I have my loan through, and they stated I can transfer the loan. I have the loan for $565 a month on a 60 month term at 4.9% and am presently 6 months into it. They said it may be possible to extend the term to 72 months.
I will pay the 1st payment for anyone who wishes to assume the loan so you would not have to make your first payment for at least two months after purchase.
Take care,
Scott

Attached are dyno sheets for MTI's new 08 LS3 Vette w/ Kook's 1 7/8" headers, 3x3 Catted X pipe and tuned. I have also attached my dyno sheet. Considering I have gone pretty conservative on the spark advance, I would say the potent L76/L92 combo on the LS2 does indeed = the new LS3.
