I'm deployed and on R&R currently and decided to put the car back up for sale. It is a 2000 M6 Trans Am with almost 86k miles. It is at 85784 as of today, so it's just about there. I am the second owner and the previous owner took it on quite a few road trips, so the majority of the mileage is highway. It was my daily driver and now it is my wifes grocery getter so it doesn't sit and rot while i'm deployed.
Interior- It is one of the best Trans Ams I have seen as far as paint goes. There are virtually no rock chips or scratches anywhere on the car. I took the side moldings off and the paint was fine and not faded under. The car cleans up VERY nicely. The interior was kept pretty clean by the PO as well, he was a "larger" fellow so the outside drivers seat bolster shows some wear in the leather. It also has a WS6store short shifter handle on the factory Hurst shifter. Other than that it cleans up as good as the exterior. Oh, the other addition is a Raptor shift light on the steering column. It's just affixed with double stick tape, nothing was permanently altered.
Exterior- The wheels are decent. I sold the original wheels which were flawless for a set of the wide-spoke polished "Speedline" WS6 wheels. They are not perfect and have some scuffs and one has a bit of rash, but it's how I bought them. They would be damn near flawless (minus the scuffs) if I got around to polishing them before I left, but I didn't have the time. The tires could be replaced, but they still have plenty of tread for me using the car daily, I don't have any problems in the rain.
Performance- The only performance parts it has are an MTI lid and UMI Poly/Rod LCAs and Rod/Rod Panhard Bar. Given the nature of the rod ends, the rear end of the car obviously makes more noise than a stock one would. It is fine for me and I don't even notice it anymore, but it may be something to consider if you don't like clunky noises coming from the rear. I also have a set of Strano lowering springs and a set of his Revalved Bilsteins made for the springs. They are not on the car but come with it. The stock shocks on ANY F-Body are horrible, and my car is no different. That is actually mostly the cause of why so much clunkiness from the rear gets into the car IMO.
That's really about it, if I remember anything else i'll edit the post as I have time. Mainly my wife will be dealing with buyers, so no tire kickers please. Price is $12,000 OBO, but I am relatively firm. I'm not willing to accept trades and would prefer a more local sale. Mostly since I don't have a ton of time to ship or drive to meet anyone. If the car doesn't sell it'll still be for sale after my deployment.
