sale or trade 99 408 TransAm
99 black TransAm 65k miles on body.ttop car,I am the 2ed owner I bought the car in Feb. of 03 with 20k and for the last five years it has always been garage kept before that I cant say. never been wrecked that I'm aware of fell free to do a carfax. this thing is wickedly fast and is a "street car" in every form of the word. not some cut up "race car"
ran 6.82@99 with 1.45 sixty NA on pump gas and drag radials threw the exhaust
was having traction problems when I tried to spray and spun BAD off the line with a 1.40 sixty it still ran 6.40 at 108 on a 150 shot. I have no doubt it will run 5.9-6.0 on the 300shot and traction. that will make a very,very easy 9sec pass
ENGINE
TSP 408 less than 500 miles. Have ALL the paper work where I bought it all new.
new 6l GM iron block
Eagle crank,Eagle H-beam rods,-10cc Diamond Racing forged pistons,TSP ported oil pump,rollmaster timming chain,LS6 valley cover,ARP head studs,ARP rod and main bolts,new pickup tube,LS7 lifters,TSP hardend 7.4 pushrods.
comp cams "texas giant" cam 248/254 .622/.613 114 lsa
PRC stage3 LS6 heads 2.08/1.60 valves. tit.double valve springs...flowed around 330cfm if I remember right

these pics are from last spring.since then I put the 408,cage,and 10s in the rear IMO it looks much better now. I will get some new pics up this weekend after I clean it up

the car put down 430RWHP thru and unlocked TH350. would easily be 500RWHP with a 4L60E. i have ridden in the car and it is crazy fast. its a very nice and tastefully done car. i hate to see you get rid of er jason, just make sure you sell it to someone not around here so i dont have to get smoked by someone else! i still say throw a 6 speed in it though.

like ls1z28 said it put down 430rwhp and 410rwtq threw a extremely power robbing drivetrain. (unlocked th350,4k stall,9") at trackmasters in Huntsville,Al
. you can call and ask them their dyno shows about 10 lower than everyone Else's. not making excuses because the proof is in the time slip. I'm open for offers on C5's. I may depending on the car give some cash.

I would say the 4L60E would get better mileage since its an overdrive tranny and the TH350 isn't.

Exactly what im looking for, funds are just too tight right now!!! Car looks clean and mean as hell! Someone is going to get a badass ride! too bad its not me... good luck with sale ego killer, thats a badass street car!
