Default Stalled 1998 Z28 BGM Camaro

Clean and Rare Color Z28 for Sale

1998 z28 A4 Camaro located 40 miles west of the Twin Cities.
I’m selling the car to get funds to buy a early 70’s Mopar.

Originally a Texas car and has never seen the snow. The car has been meticulously maintained.
I recently put in a new Performabuilt transmission and converter and as of now it has 1500 miles on them.

The car was tuned by CJTunes and its spot on. The shifts are nice and hard at WOT while soft and smooth at part throttle.
I’ve been getting 22 mpg on 91 octane fuel driving it 70 % highway and 30% city.

The car is 1 of 323 Bright green metallic z28 hard tops made in 1998.
Color code 31U Green – 323
http://www.camaroz28.com/articles/98...rs/index.shtml

1998 Z28 Camaro
5.7ltr LS1
66,000 miles on the odometer
Grey leather interior
Dark tinted windows
Monsoon system with cassette and 12 disc changer in the trunk.

Engine:
SLP lid
LS6 intake
Ported throttle body
MSD wires, tr55 plugs

Exhaust:
Pacesetter Long Tube Headers
Mufflex 3 inch y pipe with 3 to 3.5 inch flowmaster merge collector
3.5 inch mufflex single out exhaust with a Spintech muffler

Drivetrain:
Performabuilt Level II transmission ( will handle up to 700hp)
Performabuilt 9.5inch 1.69str 3200rpm stall.
Hayden transmission cooler with a AutoMeter trans temp gauge.
3.42 Motive Performance gears
TA Performance differential cover

Chasis:
UMI on car adjustable pan hard bar
UMI lower control arm relocation brackets, welded on.
UMI sub frame connectors

Body:
1970 Z28 badging
Black bergerized Camaro panel.

With just the ls6 intake and ported throttle body the car put down 299.5hp and 316.2tq on Doug Rippies dyno.

I haven't had a chance to dyno the car after the exhaust, stall, tranny and street tune.
My estimate for how much to the rear wheels now would be ~ 330hp.

The car was purchased in Oconomowoc Wi. 2 years ago with 50,000 miles on it.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/midwestern-members/556785-just-bought-camaro.html

RPO codes.

I haven't had any clearance issue with this exhaust.

Gauge bezel.

Trans Temp gauge location.

$8,700 obo

Free bump, I'd take this over a 70's Mopar anyday, unless it was one of those retardly high priced ones, then I'd sell it and get back in an f-body.

These were all taken yesterday.

Let me run the numbers for all the low ballers.

I know mods don't add their whole value to resale value.

Engine:
SLP lid - $100
LS6 intake - $300
Ported throttle body- $50
MSD wires, tr55 plugs - maintenance item
Poly motor mounts - $60
99 PCM - $100
Street Tune by CJ Tunes - $325

Exhaust:
Pacesetter Long Tube Headers - $400
Mufflex 3 inch CAT BACK - $400

Drivetrain:
Performabuilt Level II transmission and Performabuilt 9.5inch 1.69str 3200rpm stall. $2,100
Hayden transmission cooler with a AutoMeter trans temp gauge. - $50
3.42 Motive Performance gears - $300
TA Performance differential cover - $150

Chasis:
UMI on car adjustable pan hard bar - $140
UMI lower control arm relocation brackets, welded on. $67
UMI sub frame connectors -$140

Body:
1970 Z28 badging - $70
Black bergerized Camaro panel. - $50

Gauge bezel- $50

Total price for the mods = $4852

Now lets say the mods are worth 1/2 of that.

Estimated worth = $2,426

Now take the $7,100 KBB value + $2,400 = $9,500

All of the mods on the car are less then 2 years old.
The entire exhaust sytem, transmission/converter, gears and girdle are new this year.

I have receipts for everything but the exhaust that was bought through a private party.
I have the dyno sheets from the 2 times its been on Doug Rippies dyno.

Low ballers, take a hike. I'm done responding to people asking if I would take $7,000.

I will consider REASONABLE offers.

Very nice car I am sorry that banks dont take into acount mods for thier loans and loan value for your car is 4500$ at my credit union so I thought 7500 well may be low should not have been an insult, if you dont want offers dont put obo in your add. Good luck with your sale and your list of mods looks better here then in your original description you left a few things out. Well good luck with your sale sorry for insulting you.

Nice Car! I like it.

Yeah, as you know already... you will need pretty much a cash buyer. This is not in typical condition for a '98. I was looking for a bracket racer and possible DD for my wife, but she got the Lexus bug () and I just paid cash for a really nice 2JZGE SC300 to shut her up so that took my available funds. It ain't an LS1 by a long shot, but I can turbo it later pretty easily.

Anyway, free bump for a nice one!

It wasn't specifically directed at you. But come on, an offer $2k below asking price. I will move a little on the price but that's just ridiculous.
