Default 2002 Trans Am WS6 NBM M6 - Salvage Title

**** I have moved this car to eBay. *****

Lots of pictures in the auction. Also video of the car running. It is a reserve auction and I will say it's less than the $6k I was asking.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=260302049122

Thanks to all who replied.

Now asking $6000 obo...................................

-------------------------------------------------

Makes me sick to do this, but I wrecked my poor car, and I'm putting it up for sale. 69,348 Miles, all stock except for a whisper lid (destroyed in the wreck). I bought the car new on 10-6-01 at Phoenix Buick Pontiac GMC in Limerick, PA. It has been garage kept about 90% of the time I owned it.

Engine still runs, and the car still moves. I hit right on the driver's headlight while sliding sideways on a slick roadway, it basically ripped everything ahead of the engine off the car. All 4 wheels are still perfect, they were not damaged. The interior is in great shape, black leather, all options except CD changer. This is a 6 speed car, with the factory hurst shifter.

The rear axle was rebuilt under warranty at 58000 miles, the only thing not replaced was the housing itself, the axles, bearings, seals, gears, and torsen diff are all new.

The car dyno'ed 320.8HP and 339.5TQ several years ago.

Someone that's good with bodywork and has access to a good frame shop would definitely be able to fix this. Ins co. estimate was $11,900 in parts (full GM retail), and 80 hours of labor, for a total of $16804. I've been mulling over whether or not to fix it, but I was in a bit of a pinch $$ wise before this happened, and I could really use the $ to pay other bills.

My insurance co. totalled it, so I bought it back, and have a salvage title for it.

I am asking $8000 for the car.

I can be reached here on the board, or called at (717)215-5863. The car is located in Hershey, PA.

so 24,804 to get it fixed and running good sounds like a good deal for a F-bod with 60k miles and a salvaged title. LOFUCKINGLLLLLLLL

Hey it was worth a shot! Thats less than half of what the insurance payout was. Let me change that to "Or best offer".

If I have to part it I will, I'm sure I might have to do that to get a reasonable amount of $$ for it.

C'mon guys dont be too harsh, my pride and joy is gone.

so the insurence company gave you say 16k and in return you let them keep 1600 and you kept the car and know you want 8k..id say you would be closer to getting 2500-3000 for it is someone wanted a drive train out of it..ill give ya my 2000 trans am with a built 402 for your car and 12k..then you have a even better car and you made 4k for your bills..

For Salvage vehicles (Camaro)>>Normally around $3000-$5,000 tp be sell.
$8,000 Y should keep it and have repaired yourself.
I had sold 7th Salvage Camaro.

How about $6000? This isn't a wrecked car that some punk 18 year old beat the **** out of, then wrecked it. This is a garage kept, beautiful interior car, and the body from the firewall back is still beautiful. The motor and trans run like a dream. Everything in this car feels nice and tight, just like it did when I drove it off the dealership lot back in '01.

I can't get any good pics at the moment, it's pouring down rain. I will have high res pics posted as soon as this rain clears.

Also, if anyone wants to make a package deal, the '70 Hearse, the '72 Boattail Riv, and the '90 Eclipse GSX in my sig are also for sale!

$2500-$3000 is realistic. I would buy it but I don't want to drive that far!

You're better off parting it out...if you're talking $12K in just parts that car is f'in hurting.

Part it out man, it's easier.
