FS/FT 1989 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE BLACK on BLACK 6spd I have a VERY nice 1989 Corvette Conv I am thinking of selling or trading. It is a 6spd car with 17in black Z06 wheels (and good tires...they have been replaced since the pics were taken last weekend) and has a newbattery and new top. It has had a recent tune up and runs very strong and shifts perfect (new clutch within the last 5K miles.) Everything except the cruise control works...the AC is ice cold. The car looks great...the paint is a 8 out of 10 and the interior a 9 out of 10 (steering wheel is worn and it has a tiny hole in the drivers side that could easily be fixed). It could use two new seals between the back edge of the door windows and the top ($125 a pair). On the road running 65 the car gets 28-29MPG and in town close to 20 (if you stay out of it.) It does have high miles (167,000) but all of them are hiway miles put on by the former owner driving from south GA to NC every weekend.
The car is a very nice car for anyone wanting to get into a Vette for a great price. I am asking $7500 (high retail is $10,375 for the car and this one is nice enough to be considered for high retail IMO) or trade for _______ (fill in the blank....but dont offer a POS, it has to be at least equal in value!) A daily driver or better condition F-Body would be ideal. I will also trade up or down with cash going either way!

TTT...a couple offers are tempting but just too far away. I am more than will to travel within reason to work a trade but NY and NV is a little bit too far.
I also have a couple other cars I thinking of trading/selling:
A fully rebuilt 91 Jeep Wrangler....everything from the tires to the top to the motor is new (well a year old now!) Its a 4.0/5spd with AC...and also has a winch now. The pain is perfect.
A 1968 Firebird. Original 350HO/auto car...but no motor or trans in it now. It is a lot cleaner now than it is in he pics...thats what it looked liked when I picked it up. It had been sitting under that shed since 91.
A 87 Formula....VERY nice hardtop car. LG4/auto The interior has been completely redone as has the suspension. I have about $1500 in the 9 bolt with PBR rear end in it. The body is straight and rust free but the clear is peeling. The car has right at 100000 miles on it.
If you are interested in any of these cars or in more than one let me know. I am will totrade up or down...1 or 2 or 3 for 1 and so on. Just keep in mind the Vette is worth aoubt $7500, the Jeep at least $7500, the 68 well will say $2750 and the 87 Formula $3k at least. So if you have a $15K car and want the Jeep and Vette lets talk! But dont bother offering a $9K car for both...offer it for the Jeep and the 68 Bird.

Dang!! I wish you were closer (Buffalo, NY) - I would try to work out a deal on the 68 Pontiac. I have a 94 Formula black on black leather, 6 Speed, Pacesetter LTs, LT4 cam, CAI. Runs great and sounds mean, but high miles at 114k. I would almost trade for that 68 - I'm a sucker for 67-69 Fbodies

Yeah, I wish you were closer...we could certainly work a deal on that Hawk! I have gotten some really nice offers on it and the Vette but location has been the issue. I guess nobody in the southeast has anything to trade right now?
I hate to put them on Ebay but that looks like an option a this point...
