My dad and i took a trip to pheonix in august and got me signed up to go to motorcycle mechanics institute next july. im wanting a new car/truck and a motorcycle before i go. only problem is, ive got a lot of stuff to get rid of before i go.
My dd. 1993 chevy S-10 reg cab shortbed 2wd. its got a 2.8 liter TBI v6 and a 5 speed manual. its got a 2/4 drop, 15x7 and 15x8 camaro style rallies. the body is in good shape, paint's a couple years old. tailgate is kinda beat up and has a few spots of rust forming on the bed. its got 215xxx miles, but runs like a champ. we had a clutch put in and a complete tune up at 210xxx miles. It gets around 27mpg highway and around 20 in town. im asking $2000 o.b.o.
My fun truck.. 1984 Chevy K20. its got a built 427 bbc, bored .060 over(454 ci), 10.5 to 1 pistons, edelbrock intake, rebuilt q-jet carb, headers to flow super 44's to dumps. its got the original NP465 tranny with a brand new centerforce dual friction clutch. its kinda scary to drive, it doesnt seem like an older chevy should pull like this one does. its got a 4 inch softride lift and 36x12.50x16.5 Goodyear Wrangler RT 2's on it that are like brand new (off of a military humvee) and its got 16.5 by 10 mag slot wheels. The body is decent, the front clip is fine. the passenger side door skin is dented and the bed is pretty meat up and rusted. It averages 15mpg highway and about 8 mpg in town (3.42 gears and 36 inch tires do well on the highway). Im asking $3500 for it, although i have ALOT more in it.
Dad's toy- 1986 Jeep comanche. Also has chevy 2.8 liter V6 (factory, carbureted) and an auto trans (idk model, chrysler trans). the truck is all original and has 48k original miles. you wont find a nicer truck. has custom coils up front(8" of lift) and 8" lift leafs in the rear. it runs great and goes anywhere. it has 35x12.50 mud kings ( like new ) on 15x8 american racing wheels. Has aftermarket cowl hood and camper shell, comes with stock hood. you wont find a nicer comanche out there. he's asking $5000 for it.
Dad's farm truck- 1986 GMC 3/4 ton suburban, rebuilt 383 stroker and TH400 trans. Brand new 14 bolt rear axle. interior is in decent shape, ice cold A/C. body is a little beat up and rusty. has 4" leafs in front and 4" blocks in the rear. Runs and drives great, has 34x9x16 bias ply farm-like tires. hes asking $2000 for it.
My toy
- 2001 Yamaha YZ426F- Runs great, gripper seat cover, breakaway levers. well maintained, new front fork seals, newer tires. Used to run around the house and on a few trails. im asking $2000 for it also.
If interested, any of these could be traded for a streetbike, preferably a 600. email me a tl86gt@hotmail.com for pics. thanks.
