Who would be interested in a West Coast LS/LT shootout?

Who would be interested in a West Coast LS/LT shootout? Okay I'm going to put the question out there since we did something like this back in 1998-1999 I think and I am seriously considering doing it again to hype up the west coast drag racing scene.....
Okay little background. About 10 years ago we had the bayarea f-body site and the socal-f-body site. Some of you may have been members of these sites. Myself and a friend of mine Chris Chow decided to brainstorm what we called "F-body Civil War North vs South" and we had a good old fashioned heads up drag race in Bakersfield cause it was a good distance between both Norcal and Socal... There was a really good turnout. Morgan Motorsports was a sponsor and there was also a bunch of other sponsors that came out and we rented the track and what not... Pretty much had the track to ourselves I think... The whole event was a great success. We had trophies for the winners, many friends were made and what-not and it was just a good time for all who came.....
Okay fast forward to now. Since myself and Chris were the brainchilds behind the whole thing we are wondering since the west coast is supposedly the bad *** place to live (which it is) how many of you would be willing to drag out your cars and represent your region? Socal vs Norcal????
We can even open it up bigger if more people think they could come like Vegas, washington, Arizona, etc.... I just want to have a big event like the LSx shootout (okay not that big) but you get my point. We don't do **** out here unless we drive to Memphis.....
And since I also drive a car I got 100 bucks that Norcal owns you socal boys if we do an event like this!!!!!! There are PLENTY of guys up here that I know would be interested if we do it..... I don't mind doing most of the organization on it.... Locking in sponsors and what not I can do....
SO ARE WE GOING TO RUN OUR CARS OR RUN OUR MOUTHS????? how many ppl would want to do somethign like this????

nah i was more thinking all the 4th gens with LS and LT motors from each area squaring off and doin it....
we wouldn't have teams like Team norcal or team socal... every man for himself but we'd see which area takes home the heads up crown......

can it just be ls and lt powered i would like to take my impala when i lsx it.
as far as when we'd do it i'd like to do it sometime in the spring so the weather is good.... don't wanna do it when it's sweltering out....
and no i didn't mean just 4th gens.... Anythign powered with a late model LS/LT powerplant.... even mustangs as long as they have an LS/LT motor.... I don't see why we would not be able to attract at LEAST 100 cars.....

alright well keep the interest up and this thread going and lets' see how many people would like to do a famoso track rental. I think I can get Norcal-LS1 involved to kick down some sponsorship money as well as sponsors. I can talk to local vendors as well...
I do need to have a socal point of contact however..... so we can work issues from both areas that ARE going to come up....
