Default rebuilding engines

I want to get my trucks 318 v8 rebuilt. Need shops info in socal to get this done. any information would be appreciated

Well they do a lot of differant stuff call and ask. A lot of performance shops use them for rotating assembly balencing and a alot of stuff like that.

Waynes is pretty good, ive used them to clearence a 350 block for a 400 crank and some machine work.They are great for SBC and other older engine stuff but if I were going to have an LS1 built id go to CMS, otherwise I build my own engines.

We stoped using them a few months back because of quality issues with there rebuilds. Piston slap and burning oil were the 2 bigest issues we were having. They would not warrenty a recent rebuild and this was in the bosses own personal car... Needles to say That was the last straw.
