When I ran on ET streets, I ran them at 17lbs and heated them up for awhile.

if your running the et streets bia plys then you will either need to run alot more pressure (equals less hook) or run a front bias ply skinny . this has been my experience in the past. take it for what its worth

yep, more pressure will result in less sway at the big end.

^^^What he said. I run them and they will sway! et street radials don't do it. But don't hook as good either.

never had a real problem with the swaying feeling even at 15 lbs. I try to run 16-17lbs hot at the strip and give them good heat they will hook.

After a season or so, they start to harden and will require more burnout and possibly less air. Once they get inconsistant hooking, time to replace

I run full suspension to, front and rear swaybars and they are big bars. Car feels great driving even with radial front tire, bias rear. No air tube inthe tire either, just ET streets on the rim

Mine hook decent on the street. Drop the pressure and heat them up.

Hey Angel. Those are the ones I run at the track. They usually like a little more air than other slicks but at the track they should feel better (15-17psi for me). What did you get, 26x10.5?

yeah they hook ok on the street, much better than any street radial or possibly any drag radials i'm willing to bet.

My track has been known for less than optimal track prep, and i've done well with a nitrous'd 383. 1.41-1.45 60 foots no problem with 26x11.50x15 ET street. Its got about 9 inches or so of actually tread width. Not much wider than my old 245 street tires.

My old 26x10x15 ET streets were decent too. never sprayed on them but on their last bit of race life, i still managed to hook 1.55 60 foots. They were getting old and losing their ability to hook up. RUbber gets hard after a season or two and a good bit of street driving. On a good track i bet they will hook GREAT even on the sauce.

I tried that (12psi) and it kinda bogged the car a little. But yeah, you do need to really get them warm. Angel, try to really launch the car, 4000+rpm launch.
