Default 355 carb swap starts sunday

**** TBI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol I just got my 91 RS convertible to start and am tired of the 305 tbi behind it before even getting a chance to drive it. This weekend we begin to swap in my old 355 carbed motor into the convertible. The only part I need is Mallory 4309 adjustable fuel preasure regulator so I will be ordering that tomorrow. I wanted to keep this car somewhat street legal but why am i messing with a 190hp motor when i have a 300hp motor just sitting on my garage rotting away.

If anyone has thirdgen headers for cheap let me know since i would love to get some before I install the motor. I can also trade for 4th gen lt1 parts or third gen parts. Let me know and wish me luck

My 98 GMC sierra is a tbi also but it feels strong enough. hell its already hauled 2 camaro's from san diego to Lynwood. But I hate tbi on a camaro. Well soon enough I won't have to worry about it anyway I just have to get my hands on an adjustable fuel pressure regulator

When you get pulled over by a cop and he checks over your setup you'll wish it was smog legal.

A '98 would have the Vortec engine with the genuine Vortec heads. MUCH better setup than the 87-95 TBI engine.

Thats why i posted it here and not on thirdgen. I don't need a lecture. Worry about your car and leave teh rest of us alone. Your car isn't smog legal either. Just because you pass the sniffer doesn't mean all of the parts that are installed on your car are legal. Your dads headers don't have a carb sticker on them and from what i hear your cam isn't street legal either. Worry about your setup and i'll worry about mine.
