please dont ever do that again (blocks of wood for jackstand)
real quick way to damage your car/kill your self and most important make camaro owners look like jackasses lol

Lol the wood is NOT going to break. If I use wood of 35000lbs water trucks. A 3600lbs car aint ****.

its not it breaking but just simply falling over, if it was one solid piece would be fine,
i use to use tree stumps that i cut up and then put jackstand on top of them when i had work on my offroad truck

Did you finally blow your rear end up or just swapping it out? Also, what gear do you have in your new rear?

I don't think you could have found a bigger floor jack... Wood is cool we use it for our 79000 lb vehicles at work... have used worse things for pulling entire k-member not so sure I want to disclose that info on here though....

I use wood to hold up our 450,000 lb. haul trucks but its not 500 2x4s stacked on top of each other

Dude you need to be safe when you work on these cars. Just borrow some jackstands next time man and be safe.

Hey ya'll,... thx's for all the luv, yeah it was pretty dumb to use 500 2x4's but thats all i had, lol, just thought i would share my sat. morning project with my fellow techers...
i upgraded the rearend.., the take off is still excellent which i plan on keeping
just incase...lol......peaceout!!!
