2 rare birds in La Puente so im closing up the shop i work at on the corner of Amar and Hacienda and i happen to glance over to the car wash across the parking lot and i notice an absolutely gorgeous collectors edition t/a vert. as i'm drooling over this awesome car i hear the sweet sound of an ls powered vehicle approaching. i look to my right and traveling north on hacienda was a pristine black firehawk. as i'm explaining to my boss the signifigance of the yellow t/a, the firehawk comes back down hacienda at about the same time the ceta is pulling out of the car wash. they exchanged revs and waves. just wanted to share the highlight of my day, seeing to great examples of pontiac greatness in my backyard. btw a female was driving the ceta which was icing on the cake

This is great.... thanks for the compliments. It most definitely was me driving the ceta vert. I was just about to ask on the spotted f-body thread who the Firehawk owner was. Hey cntrmnt02ss do you work at that Firestone tire shop? I noticed there were 2 black vettes parked in front of it.

This is great.... thanks for the compliments. It most definitely was me driving the ceta vert. I was just about to ask on the spotted f-body thread who the Firehawk owner was. Hey cntrmnt02ss do you work at that Firestone tire shop? I noticed there were 2 black vettes parked in front of it.

Hey Chris! I know I completely missed it! I've been out of the loop with the car world lately.... when I'm trying to save a lot of money I have to separate myself from it. If I would have gone this year, I definitely would have been motivated to do more mods. It seems like everybody had a great time. I will hopefully make it out next year. So any recent upgrades to the car lately?

WTF I live like a mile from Hacienda and Amar. I never see any F-Bodies!!
Im right off of Del Valle and Amar! lol
What shop do you work at cntrmnt02ss? Only ones is Firestone and JIffy Lube across the street. lol

I know exactly where that is. Strange that I've never seen your car and vice versa. I wonder how many people from this forum live in the West Cov/La Puente area. I always thought that the parking lot where Target, Ruby Tuesday and Chronic Tacos is on Azusa/Amar would make a good car meet spot.

There aren't any meets going on in our area that I know of and if there are then I don't see why they couldn't relocate to a prime spot. Hmmm...... So who else lives in the West Cov/Covina/La Puente/City of Industry area that would want to start a new meeting spot?

we could even meet at my job, yes... i do work at the firestone. i was driving the black c6 that day, my co worker has the c5. i could just ask them to leave the timer on for the lights. but the other spot sounds good. i see f-bodies all day from my vantage point. one i see almost everyday is a blue trans am with black wheels...sounds nice too
