vht not legal in california??? WTF so i have been searching auto stores for vht night shade paint.....
everyone tells me its now illegal to sell this stuff what the hell?????

because blackout lights are illegal in california. you can order it online at afterthoughtsauto.com or on ebay, or you can go to autozone and buy the covers for 50 bucks or so. people always ask me if i niteshaded them. and if i ever do get a fix it ticket, i just pop them off

go on ebay and order them. thats what i did. got like 2 cans for $13 or something.... sprayed it on n love the looks! i was proud of myself. then i sprayed my other friends cars for some extra $$$. 
but for how many times ive been pulled over or with cops behind me... i have never been talked to about the taillights being tinted. JUST MY DAM NO FRONT LICENSE PLATE
got like 6 tickets for that.

lol......that is why it is special paint. when you hit the breaks the red lights come on to let the dumb asses behind you know that your stopping.
