Finally, A Record for the West Coast!
Maybe it's just me, but it always seems like the top dogs on all the 'fast lists' are always somewhere in the midwest or northeast.
Well, one of the guys over on the Vette forums is representing for the West Coast. He just became the first N/a C6 Vette to click off a 9 second pass. It's a heads/cam LS7 motor with an A6 tranny. He went 9.9 @ 139 mph on a 1.4 sixty foot.
More info on the car HERE.

That's true we don't get lotsa people breaking records over here but I think CMS also hold a national record for fastest/quickest 6 speed gto .... and they're from the west coast.... we should make a list of these records and try breaking them lol.. I hold the record for Perris' fastest yellow 03 Z06 wit black wheels lol

That's because if any of them came out here and tried to run in our air, they would be slower than they are back east.
Take your cars back east during the for three months or last three months of the year and your cars will run at least a .25 faster.
My buddy went to Texas and the car went from 5.0's in the 1/8 to 4.80's
