Arizona F-body owners with a modded car hey guys i'm trying to move down to tucson and was curious about emissions in that area. my car is heavily modded and needless to say it doesnt have **** so would definitely fail any visual inspection. but what else is there? the car runs on e-85 so any test on the rollers will be clean.

No visual (not my car anyways). They plug into your computer port to check for a "check engine" light and they check your gas cap....and that's it.
I do have catalytic converters, but the AIR pipes on my headers are blocked off. Buty like I said, no visual. I live in Maricopa county (Phoenix). Tucson is in a different county, Pinal maybe? They might be different. Shouldn't be though, should be the same throughout the state.

that sounds promising. my parents live in chandler and my address is currently that address (i'm military) so i kinda have a loop hole if tucson are ***** about it.

Tucson is in Pima county, they have emissions as well but I'm not sure they are any stricter than Maricopa. If you have ODBII they just plug in. I've never had a visual, or I'd have failed a long time ago.

I live in Tucson. Only thing they check is OBDII and gas cap. In and out real fast. Friend had a 02 trans am that was boosted on e-85 and had exhaust dumped under his passenger seat. Passed without any problems, and you can buy 2 years tags.
