"Service Vehicle" light
So my Service Vehicle light has been on for a while. I was having some O2 sensor problems that were throwing codes, but those have been fixed and the codes have been cleared, but that stupid Service Vehicle light is still on and I can not figure out how to clear it. Anybody have any advice? I need to get my car smogged so I don't want any lights on-plus it's just annoying.
Thanks!

Oh sorry, I only have the Service Vehicle light on, no others. I was saying I had another light on from the car throwing a code because of bad O2s but I fixed the O2 problem and that light is cleared, now I only have the Service Vehicle light on. My oil was changed only a couple months ago...

Wait, braking motors means you drive like a rookie? How is your motor doing? Oh that's right, you destroyed it. Probably because you were a Rookie at the Mojave Mile!:

I used an OBDII and I'm not throwing any codes. And I don't know how to clear this light, so I simply tried the suggestion you're referring to-I wasn't sure if it was going to work, and sure enough it did not.

Pull the PCM fuse for an hour or so and reset it. Im certain it will go away, if in reality you dont have something wrong

This is not an engine code. This is actually a body control module code that you are getting. An avarage scanner won't give u any codes since u don't have any engine codes. Go somewhere that has a good scan tool like tech2 or something similar. U will get body control module codes. Also pressing the gas and diconnecting the ECM fuse won't work. If u can't find any where to get those scanned let me know I have a scanner that will scan that for u and let u know what it is. I can also erase It but I'm sure it will come back.

and we checked it and there are no BCM codes. Thats why this is so confusing. No codes anywhere in the car, but still the service engine soon light! (P.S. his car used to be a V6 and ever since the swap, the light has been on)
and just so everyone knows, we are not talking about the "check engine" light. this is a seperate light that is "service vehicle"
