Default San Diego head swap install help

Looking to do the swap in my garage... but looking for an extra hand from someone how has done a heads before... Gonna let a shop do the cam cause I need to have the pistons cut for clearance...

There is guy on here name Clyde. His screen name is Haighter. He could probably help you out. He did my clutch install on my GTO at Miramar.

I'm by miramar... I have never opened up a LSx motor... sbc were easy... not sensors etc.... but I don't like my car being put on a lift without me putting it on... my fender tabs are still crooked!!! GRRRR that was from a tires plus in pennsauken nj by camden tech, they put my agk kyb's on the weekend i got my car in 2003 and had the f*cking fender sticking out so bad with the door closed u could've still fit your whole hand behind the fender

I haven't really decided what heads to use... I'm thinking more with PRC 2.5 LS6s. As for the cam... I'm not sure exactly cause i'm trying to get about 440whp/410wtq.. Not concerned with emissions cause got FL tags on both my cars...

In the vid i figured he had a small cam with 372whp/380wtq dyno #s

I always recommend that you take your car to a top notch shop like CMS. They are one of the best shops in the west coast.

If you are wanting to do it yourself and want a hand or pointers as you are doing it then give me a PM
