So apparently what the wife and I thought could have been a small earthquake and just went back to sleep was actually a house up the street blowing up. Thankfully no one was inside and the cause was a Gas leak from a gas line in the house, it was undergoing remodeling before the tenants were supposed to move in.

Just watch our gas lines guys I would hate to see this happen to anyone.

A year ago my parents attic caught fire due to a gas leak caused by an electrical short. Thankfully the house didn't blow up.

Dude that always worries me, but hey I guess we have home owners insurance.

Yeah we thought it was an earthquake and just went back to sleep. Got up an hour later and our neighbors were outside, so we went down the street to check it out.

Nobody smells the sulfur in the gas leak? It's pretty detectable.

It was a vacant house, the owner had just found tenants and was completing repairs and what not, it probably happened over night since it blew at 4:15 ish in the morning.

Lol not in our neighborhood, that's for damn sure the HOA would be all over them in a second.
